Perfect location, pity about maintenance.
Location was excellent, perfect for Matlock, Buxton and Bakewell. Have stayed before with other family members, but this time the in-laws came with us. They find stairs a difficulty, so this was perfect with downstairs bedroom facilities.
We reported light bulbs out on first day, but there were never resolved even after a second request. We reported first thing Friday morning, and again when we got back from our day out, only to be told that maintenance chap wouldn't be in until Monday. Bulbs were out in bathrooms, so only had one working bulb in each of upstairs ensuites.

Enjoyed out stay, surroundings were nice.
Nice location.
The cleanliness of the accommodation could have been better. The kitchen had poor equipment making it hard to cook. The dishwasher had food in the bottom of it from previous people which wasn’t nice to see.
