Dog Friendly Escape

Excellent location for a dog friendly trip. It's quiet, there's loads of good walks to be had, lots of dogs in the neighbourhood and even a nearby raw food shop. There's plenty of space, the water pressure of the shower is great, bed is very comfy,

We had a good time.

Late checkout; good communication; good location if you’re exploring Peak District; well equipped kitchen. Good heating system; calm location; sufficient beds and good beddings.

Had to look for the towels and hand wash as they weren’t kept in the toilet. There were no shampoo or soap, but luckily we had brought our own. There was some dust and cobwebs behind the beds.

Weekend away in Bakewell

The beds was very comfortable and the pillows the place was lovely and warm , we had Netflix too .

Was only 1 toilet roll between 5 of us we could have done with more , was a couple of tea bags and no coffee ,we did bring our own so wasn't a problem but would have been nice to have a few more options , was free toiletries but no shampoo option but we bring our own but otherwise place was pretty good for the one ,nice big comfy sofas too, would definitely come back 😀

Clean spacious house near woodland

Clean property, easy to access, parking for 2-3 cars, property is much bigger then it looks in the pictures, quiet neighbourhood, no need to walk on main road with child or dog, public footpath literally at the end of every street. Great location. Corner shops 3 mins walk, supermarkets 10min drive, playgrounds in 2 neighbouring villages in walking distance.

Great family sized home, comfortable and warm!

Lovely big home, kitchen had everything needed, the children were well considered with little touches like a night light in the hallway - easy to come straight in and be at a home away from home.

Comfortable, met majority of our needs for our short stay

Everything worked. Sofas and beds were comfortable. On the whole the property was very clean. The location close to woodland walks

The property was shabyly maintained, bath panel was broken, kitchen utensils(crockery and cutlery) were dirty. Oven was in need of a good clean, only one oven pan which was greasy. Only able to access property by back door

Adequate for our one night stay.

Very competitively priced, quiet area. Lounge is best room. Kitchen was adequately equipped for our one night stay. Large bathroom

Room for improvement with the decor. Lacked some finishing touches like a lampshade in the bedroom. Incorrect password for wi-fi which was quickly corrected. We couldn’t find the hairdryer which was shown on the inventory. Dining room a bit sparse. Vacuum cleaners left out. Windows could do with some net curtains/blinds. Garden was untidy.

Perfect comfortable roomy house for a short stay

Great value for money 😃 11am clock out so nice lay in 😃 Much bigger than expected 😃 Comfortable 😃 Tea/coffee/milk/sugar and biscuits left on arrival which was a nice touch as we were dying for a cuppa after a long drive back from Scotland. Everything needed for short stop over. Nice lady came over to replace a bulb as no light in lounge ceiling ( we found a lamp so sufficed ) and she gave us more towels. Very helpful when contacting them directly.

Gate locking catch needs replacing. Bathroom lock needs screwing back. Pair of scissors. Small things only.

The accommodation is clean, everything you need is available to use,very quiet area. You can relax after a long trip and activities from Chatsworth House. Good communication with the host and check-in really smoothly.

A surprise woodland walk at the end of the street .

Had all the amenities you needed. There is a fantastic walk at the end of the street, through some woods which I absolutely loved. Also there was a shop nearby which we walked to
