It was in a great location, facilities were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. Annalise was lovely and very helpful, especially with us accidentally setting off the fire alarm. Would recommend this place!

Clean, modern, and well thought out. I loved having a private bathroom, and was impressed by how well resourced the kitchen was.

The fire alarm did go off from burnt toast from another person - not a biggie, but it was loud 😅 at least the fire alarms work!

Great for solo person

Location was great. Access to my room in the Villa was easy. I was a solo person in Whangarei to attend a funeral. The accommodation fitted my needs. The bedroom/ensuite was comfortable and there are a communal kitchen and lounge.

No coat hangers in the wardrobe. It would have been nice to have been able to hang up a couple of things,

the location was excellent the place freshly painted and clean. Spacious room. excellent bed.

The property is poorly managed my room did not lock on the first night and I could not contact the host to resolve it. The host was very pleasant when I met her in person on the Saturday but responded poorly both times there were issues. Other occupants were concerning and matters escalated to the point that one passed out on the road and I had to attend to her with an ambulance. When the host/owner was advised the following evening I was told it would have been super helpful to have been informed right away. To be fair the CCTV had been reviewed by the host and the isuses/behaviour of guests detected and explained but the response that this could happen anywhere was dismissive. I do acknowledge that the room was quiet but it was bright all night the blinds did not block out the street lights and there is no aircon just a fan so it was hot.

Für 1 Nacht als Zwischenstop ok.

Es ist im Prinzip eine Luxus Jugendherberge mit Einzelzimmer und Bad im Zimmer. Sehr schönes Bad, alles neu. Grossartige Dusche. Gute Badtücher, Pflegemittel. Sehr ruhig, evt. darum, weil ich der einzige Gast war. Habe niemanden gesehen. Sehr schöne, neue Gemeinschaftsküche und Gemeinschafts-Ess und Aufenthaltsraum. Alles neuwertig. Schöner, grosser Fernseher im Gemeinschafts-Raum. Keine Weingläser.

Es hatte keinen einzigen Kleiderbügel. Was nützt da der kleine Kleiderschrank. Zimmergrösse auf dem Minimus. Bad ist fast gleich gross. Keine Milch für den Kaffee. Kein Wasserkocher. Man muss den modernen Kochherd benutzen, was ich leider nicht beherschte. Also kein Morgen-Kaffee. Fernseher mit nur 6 oder 7 nicht gerade tollen Fernsehsendern, keine Nachrichten, kein Sport. Evt. über zusätzliche Apps möglich. Da ich aber technisch nicht so begabt bin, liess ich es dann sein mit dem Fernseher. Kein Safe. Zu teuer. Steuern und eine Putzpauschale, welche man bezahlt, machen die Unterkunft zu teuer und sprechen wohl die Kundschaft für diese Art von Übernachtungsort aus diesem Grund nicht an. Um 06.00 Uhr kam wohl die Müllabfuhr und machte einigen Krach in der Nähe meines Zimmers.
