The space and overall comfort. Size great. Good water pressure in shower and excellent wifi.

Road in a nightmare but not host's fault. Expecting a contractor to repair storm damage soon. Not good for a hire car but manageable all the same. Wouldn't stop me from rebooking.

Nice premises and owner bad access road.

No breaky

It was dangerous trying to drive to the property up a private road that has not had any repairs for years. Our rented car kept giving alerts about the conditions and we were lucky not to have done any damage to Toyota Yaris. Not acceptable.

Great bed but overall fairly ordinary.

It was quiet and close enough to town. The bed was very comfortable. Parking at the door.

The couch was stained and dirty; cupboards were broken; there was mess, old papers and broken bits and pieces in the room; the dishes, cooking utensils and kitchen cupboards were dirty. It generally looked uncared for. No fault of the host, but the road in is very rutted and precarious, washed away and rough.

Dirty bathroom (mould in shower and toilet wasn’t clean) small TV could hardly see it, dishes were old and stained, no Tea bags or much of anything. Microwave rusted out.

My partner has mobility issues due to a spinal injury and the property wasn't easily accessible as stated. There was a deep step for him to get up and down before being able to get into the accommodation.

Good location. Good size unit.

The access road outside the cabin is a disgrace, bad enough to damage your car. It's a private road so it the hosts problem not the councils. No washing up liquid, no dish cloth, no tea towel, no hand towels. An A3 size TV set. A used bar of soap nothing else. 2nd bed as a strained mattress for goodness sake take it out, Garden area is overgrown, patio furniture is rusty, the view would be improved by trimming the edges With a little investment it could be improved no end. At the moment it's run on the cheap.

The unit was damp, smelt bad, had black mould in the shower, and emerging on the bathroom ceiling. The drive was deeply rutted by storm damage.

It was more affordable than some but not a good choice unfortunately. Clean enough but overrun with ants.

The driveway was badly washed out, worse than warned about. Heaps of ants which ruined some of our food and ended up with some at home after. All of a sudden no hot water. Not the nice break away we saved up for.

BIGGER THAN IT LOOKS

Alot bigger than what it looked, very spacious, nice and sunny. Great location as out of the city but only a couple of minutes to get into town. Aaron the host was great to deal with, along with fast communication. Served my purpose for an overnight stay while brother in hospital. So didn't really use the kitchenette, but it had everything you would need plus a microwave and fridge. Loved the fact that not only did the bed have an electric blanket but there was a hot water bottle in the cupboard. Plus the place was lovely and clean.

BEING PICKY Because I wasn't a tourist and out for the night I spent the night in, and coming from a big screen TV household, the TV was a wee bit small, but in saying that it did look like it was a replacement for one that was wall mounted.

Perfect for our purposes - and great value!

Aaron was available to meet us and provide the key, it was nice to meet him and find out about the place, which is spacious and homely. Lovely comfy bed, a heat-pump to keep the place cosy (in winter times), good cooking facilities, wifi and TV available. A small deck with chairs and table, which would be lovely to sit out and enjoy the outlook in warmer months. Appreciated having parking at the door and it was definitely great value - we'd happily stay again.

Found on Booking.com but was more like an Air BnB style of accommodation and there were some things that you might expect at a Booking.com facility, such as toiletries and a hairdryer, tea/coffee and milk, which were limited, but appreciated having gas hot-plates for cooking as stove top cooking is not always available at Booking.com places - and there was cooking oil, salt and pepper available if necessary. Hopefully the roadway access will be dealt with soon - Aaron had messaged about this but missed that before we arrived.

We felt one of the property owners was constantly observing us as we could hear her walking around the unit, being jet lagged our sleep was important, the owner came to the unit and constantly knocked while we were sleeping not respecting the fact we could be sleeping and reminded us "We are only here for one night" which my partner found very rude.

Great place with loads of room for a short stay

The space was great with comfortable furnishings. The location was handy to town. Loads of power points and very light. The bathroom and shower were good , the bed comfortable. The parking area had plenty of room and our host is friendly and approachable. Everything in the listing was present and the rate was very reasonable

Peaceful

I absolutely loved my stay! The accommodation is in a great location and offers the perfect sense of privacy—definitely a home away from home. As a country gal, the peaceful and relaxing vibe was exactly what I needed. The beautiful views, clean and spacious room, and quiet atmosphere made it an ideal getaway. It was also perfect for traveling with my 4-month-old baby. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it!

Super affordable stay.

Super affordable

Wasnt pre warned about the road damage and driveway to the property. Thankfully we drove in when there was still some daylight. Had to be super careful driving in and out the broken driveway. We slept on towels atop of the sheet and laid our tops on the pillowcases to sleep. Found a hair in the bed and the sheets were not clean. We suspect the linen had not been changed from previous stay/s. Looked for clean linen and there were only what looked like a bundle of old op shop blankets in the hot water cupboard. The teabags were not individually wrapped, so no way of telling whose hands or how many may have handled the stale smelling teabags. We popped out to grab a few supplies, our own milk and teabags was one of those things.
