Nice little cottage in a great location with everything you need for a perfect stay.

It was really nice having access to a washing machine, it's fairly rare while travelling, the air con was lovely, the complementary coffees were great, it was quiet and private, and the location was perfect.

Convienient, quiet, well appointed kitchen with basics provided, comfy bed, linen, pillows, option for al fresco dining. Laundry with washing powder.

Kitchen and shower a tad small, but manageable. Blinds in bedroom don't fully block out the light.

Immaculate and cosy cottage in the heart of Whangarei

The cottage was super cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Whangarei. It was even stocked with tea (which was greatly appreciated with a couple of English), condiments and toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and the host went the extra mile to make it a wonderful stay. We could not recommend the property more.

Great place to stay, excellent value for money and would stay again.

This is a wonderful little BnB. The house itself was very well equipped with everything you could need. It was neat and tidy and very private - which we liked. There was ample room for the car. The location was good being close to main roads North and South and also to shops. It was also mostly a very quiet location - see exceptions below.

The water pressure in the shower was pretty feeble but it was still useable. The neighbours over the back fence were 'interesting' with their noise and language but they did quieten down at bed time so all was well.

Lovely stay

What a lovely stay I had! The apartment is super clean, tidy, and peaceful. I had everything I needed and more. It was great having a washer and a place to hang my wash. Host Anne is wonderful! And her gardens are beautiful. I would definitely stay again. I recommend Cottage on Church Street to solo travelers or couples.
