Not a criticism but a little bistro set outside the studio would be a great addition to sit outside and soak in the view and a bbq would be too but still fantastic without them!

Good views and homely

First shower it kept filling up and not draining so pulled the drainage out and there was a lot of hair in the drain. Very off putting. Kept it out during our stay so it wouldn’t keep blocking the water. Other than that everything was good.

Highly Recommend

Very spacious area. Own fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and the room was big. Had a small TV in there which you could use Netflix. Handy if you don't want to use the lounge area. Even though it is downstairs to the main house (not connected internally), it was very quiet

The only thing would be that they had accidentally forgot to change the dining tablecloth which was dirty

So nice to have everything to ourselves. It was a bit of searching for some of the facilities. But Cindy was very helpful to explain all.

Our stay at the studio was superb.

The price was excellent for what we received, and having the entire flat to ourselves was a big plus. It was easy to get to, and its close proximity to Whangārei town centre made our trips into the city very easy and convenient.

We were only provided with one roll of toilet paper, and the cleaning products and toiletries were mixed together in the cupboards. Other than that, we loved our stay.

We stayed 4 nights but had to ask for dry towels. So basically had to use wet towels for 2 days.

Large size, easy check in, good communication, good value

There was 3 bottles of different milk in the fridge but all were expired. One towel and facecloth supplied for 3 night stay wasn’t quite enough. Overall happy and would return

A comfortable spacious place to stay when visiting Whangarei, we will be back

The Studio was large and well decorated with a full sized fridge and bench top oven and hot plate. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed and a second TV for late night Netflix. Food was left for our breakfast in the fridge. We will definitely stay in the Studio again when we travel North.

A warm, comfy and cosy winter

Location is handy to everything. It’s like home away from home. After months of my partner out seafaring he enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place. Our privacy was respected and host checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. Thank you we will be back.

We really enjoyed our weekend in Whangarei, and we loved our stay in The Studio!

This property exceeded the expectations I had while booking. The Studio is quiet, comfortable and clean. The windows had been opened before our arrival so the place was nicely aired out. The hosts have created a lovely space here with little touches like fresh towels folded on the bed & milk in the fridge. Together with the heat pump, smart tv, and free wi-fi - The Studio is a real home away from home!

We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property or the hosts. Everything was great, and better than expected! We would love to stay here again.
