Location close to the venue attended for work course, less than 10 mins from the town centre and access to food. Very accommodating - owners and Nico were at home when I arrived, very nice and non- intrusive. It was particularly cold (unusual for Northland) and the room was very chilly, Nico went and purchased a small heater to take the chill off ( worked a treated) and didn’t need to stay on for long and the room stayed at a pleasant temp all night ( they have electric blankets too!. It is a homestay; I had one room and a dedicated toliet/ shower in the main house. I would suggest if you do want ensuite - that’s what you book, they have one downstairs. Beautifully presented home, cosy, safe and generally warm, very much enjoyed my week long stay.

Never had breakfast at the b n b

The kitchen area was a eye sore. I wouldn't like to wake up to a mess.
