Was amazing! Went as a last miniuite getaway and it was exactly what we were looking for :)

The place was super nice and we really enjoyed it! The place was super easy to get to from Whangarei, while still being the private rural getaway we were looking for. The place was super clean and comfy aswell, and the host was amazing! Really enjoyed and def would stay again.

Thought the view would be more of the hills and surrounding, rather was more of the backyard of the (but it is nice and private so no complaints).

Tranquil spot. So refreshing to be out in nature, but warm and comfortable in a cute tiny home.

Lovely location, and facilities. Gorgeous views, comfy bed, and all you needed to enjoy your stay. Kitchen was fully equipped. Cassette toilet was fine until the last night.

I arrived late at night, and it was wet. The access to the property was along the side of a house on grass. Lights on the side of the house would have been helpful, and so would a path. Otherwise, a supply of gumboots would have been helpful. The lovely hosts offered me their daughter's riding boots the next day. Also, it got cold at night. Again the hosts gave me a blanket, but heavier bedding in June would be helpful.

Der erste Eindruck war für uns sehr gut. Unser „Land Host“ war sehr freundlich und die Agentur „Stay away“ hatte vorab ausführliche Check in Anweisungen mit vielen Informationen bereitgestellt. Da ein Sturm mit starken Regenfällen vorausgesagt war, wurde uns sogar angeboten in einer anderen Festgebauten Wohnung zu übernachten. Wir freuten uns jedoch auf unseren ersten Aufenthalt auf unserer Reise und in einem tiny house.

Nachdem wir unsere Einkäufe erledigt hatten, freuten wir uns bei der Rückkehr abends ein kleines Abendessen zu uns zu nehmen. Wir wollen es kurz machen, durch den heftigen Regen fing es durch die Decke zu tropfen. Erstmal nur neben das Bett. Im weiteren Verlauf auch auf das Bett. Und es wimmelte von Kakerlaken. Unter der Mikrowelle wo es dreckig war und dunkel hatten sie eines ihrer Verstecke, wohl auch noch hinter der Wand oder Decke?! Wir haben nach Auszug fast das gesamte Essen wegwerfen müssen. Dennoch fanden wir immer und immer wieder neue Mitreisende - Nach unserer ersten Unterkunft hier in Neuseeland!!! Es ist ein Alptraum. Niemand möchte so richtig die Verantwortung dafür übernehmen: ob es nicht Waldschaben wären? Ob wir Belege für den Wasserschaden haben? Minimum Rückerstattungen werden als großartiges Entgegenkommen verkauft. Wie viel essen wir noch wegwerfen müssen werden? Wie viel Zeit wir auf unserer Reise noch mit Suchen verbringen werden? Wie viel Geld wir noch verschwenden werden? Überlegen Sie sich vor ihrer Buchung gut, ob es Ihnen das wert ist!
