Location is great, very central, beautiful building, 10 min walk from the railway station, and the ski resort. Great value for money, very comfortable beds.
As with all accommodations in Bad Gastein, you have to walk uphill to the ski resort, so I recommend leaving your skis at the Schober Depot, next to the entrance, for 12 EUR a day. That way, you avoid carrying skis forward and backward.
As mentioned, it is a great value for money. Just do not expect a newly furnished house. It is an old, beautiful building, and for us it was perfect, because we like the ambiance. The sauna and pool are basic but fine. Everything is clean. So there was nothing I did not like.

Great value for money. Breakfast was good, and the hotel was beautiful!
As everything was remote, we got the wrong key code for the front door so had to call a number of to get the right key code. Nonetheless, we got it after a few minutes.

Aamianen oli perushyvä.
Hedelmät, pähkinät ja jogurtti plussaa.
Huone 14 kaunis ja korkea (mutta toimimaton keittiöseinä).
Olisi kiva jos respassa tai aulabaarissa olisi henkilökuntaa.
Avainlokerot hajoilivat.
Emme saaneet huonetta, jonka olimme varanneet. Onneksi huoneemme oli tilava ja valoisa. Siinä oli kuitenkin aika pieni sänky (140 cm). Ja keittiöseinä jossa jääkaappi ei mennyt kiinni ja sulake selvästi irti. Koko seinällä ei mikään toiminut. Lattia oli hipmaton ja mustia jälkiä sisältävä. Huoneen siivous onneksi toimi päivittäin. 👍
Spa oli kaunis ja kiva, mutta lattiat likaiset. Suihkut toimivat siellä huonosti - välillä jääkylmää ja lämpimämpää vettä. Sauna ja uima-allas olivat kivoja.
