Villa Teona KotorBay Residence

A lovely apartment for a 3 night stay in Kotor. Very well presented, safe and quiet apartment easy walking distance into the Bay (noted some reviews mentioning that it's on a hill however if you are fit and healthy, not an issue and shouldn't put you off). Nice to have a balcony and basic kitchenette to be able to enjoy the mornings.

The instructions on how to get into the building would be helpful on the welcome text message (not near you had to enter the building that was already open). Could provide a few more coffee pods for the room if offering a coffee machine to guests.

Taxi to and from airport organised by host. Once we had access to all the accommodation, we found it to be very clean and comfortable. Good showers and great views of the bay. Plenty of storage in the accommodation . Quiet location. Electric black out shutters. Shops for groceries nearby. Very helpful host when we made contact with him. Bottle of water provided in fridge. Reasonable basic kitchen equipment provided and pod coffee machine with a few pods provided. Kotor old town was stunning. Fabulous restaurants. Perast was very well worth a visit. We went on the local Blue Line bus. Frequent and cheap. We would definitely stay again.

No name on the building. No one at the accommodation to meet us although they knew we were arriving early to deposit cases. Access was via the steps to the adjacent building which we worked out for ourselves. The door was open so we could get in and work out which apartments were ours. No information anywhere. Eventually had to switch on my phone and call host to get WiFi code and permission to leave luggage as previously arranged. He then came very quickly Most of these niggles could have been prevented with a welcome info pack and saved the hosts time as well. Also info re local bus/ nearest supermarket/ recommended restaurants/ best walking route into town would have been very useful and saved us time. Safe needs to be secured to a wall. Could just be picked up and carried out. Be aware that this accommodation is uphill and the landscaping is not finished.

Helpful owner, spacious, clean and neat place. They have a nice rooftop. Good air conditioning with both hot and cool temperature settings. It’s a good deal in this price. Some nearby restaurants too. 20 mins walk from old town.

Despite overall it’s a clean place but some small flies were observed in toilet.
