Apartments Blue Sea

Compact but comfortable and a short 10 minute stroll into Kotor, served us very well for our 3 night stay.

We stayed at Apartment Blue Sea in mid-May and absolutely loved our experience. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to the Old Town. The balcony of studio 1 offers a magnificent view of Boka Bay and the town of Kotor—including the fortress, which we admired even more from our seats after climbing it! We were even treated to a fireworks display right from the balcony one evening. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well-equipped: the bed and linens were top-notch, the shower was great, and having a washing machine (with detergent provided) was a huge plus. We also loved the 3-position balcony door and the excellent blackout shutters for a good night's sleep. Hand soap, dish soap, salt, and coffee were also thoughtfully provided. For groceries, there is a Voli supermarket nearby, though we preferred walking a bit further to Aroma market to grab ingredients for a home-cooked dinner (local kolbasica and Swiss chard pasta). The stovetop takes a little getting used to at first (you need to turn it on, select the burner, and press "+", then use a bit of patience and trial-and-error to dial in the heat), but it works perfectly fine once you get the hang of it. Parking is easily accessible, and Marija’s family members are always on-site to help guide you in. Just a quick tip for drivers: the driveway is a very steep slope, so make sure to get some momentum, especially if you are driving a manual car! They were even kind enough to let us use their garden hose to wash our car. The absolute "Big Win" of this place is the outstanding customer service—we honestly felt like we had a reservation at a 5-star luxury hotel! Marija is an incredible host—lightning-fast at replying to any questions and extremely helpful with travel logistics. On top of that, the extra services they offer made our trip so convenient and stress-free.

Çok temizdi , ve sahibi çok güzel ilgilendi . Eksik olan bir kaç ürünüm olmuştu ve hemen kendisininkiyle paylaştı. Konum olarak da biraz yokuş çıkılıyor ama Kotora hep yürüyerek indik.

Manzarasının biraz daha deniz görmesini isterdim. Kıyısından görünen bi manzara var belki üst katlarda böyle değildir bilmiyorum.

Bed was comfortable.

- Smaller than expected and terrace is not private. - You can hear sounds from other apartments. - People can see into your bathroom if the window is open. - There was mould in the washing machine. - The bed was a couch bed which we didn’t expect but it was comfy. There were no power points near the bed. - The aircon sounded like someone was whistling in the room. - The hot and cold taps were labelled incorrectly. - There was an issue with the main lock to the complex where we could only unlock it from the outside which is a huge fire hazard. They tried to fix that pretty quickly though. - The worst thing was they make you take the bins out which is their job. The bin they suggested was a significant walk away down a steep hill as well.
