Perfect stay in Kotor

Deposit never returned

Room was nice albeit a bit loud from traffic/people outside, location is good about 15 minutes walk to the old town.

The hosts requested a €50 deposit in cash when checking in which we paid for no problem. It's stated on their listing that this is returned after checking the property. When checking out, we were told all we needed to do was leave the keys in the property for them to collect later, neither host was actually at the property when we checked out. After asking about the deposit, they insisted that we never paid a deposit and that they don't take deposits on all rooms. Really disappointing that the first reaction was to suggest we're lying over €50, and as they only take cash there is no proof of payment from us. Suggest you stay in a property that takes card payment as they do exist!

Great location and nice apartment

Great location near a beach club and swimming area, and easy walking distance into old town. Clean and new facilities that seemed well maintained.

Some confusion with the booking - initial description said it was a 2 bedroom apartment with a living room, however it was a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. Otherwise no other concerns/issues

Beautiful stay!

The property is situated directly on the beach, a 20 minute walk from Kotor old town. It was clean, had excellent facilities, and the owners were so helpful and responsive.

Nice but inaccurate details

Dmitri was a very communicative host, he met us on arrival and it was easy to coordinate with him. The room was decorated nicely and we appreciated being given beach towels as well as bath towels. The location was very beautiful.

Like someone else has mentioned, we initially were under the impression we had booked a room with bath tub (the only reason we actually booked this hotel). It turned out we had not but we kept the reservation anyway. We booked the one bedroom apartment with sea view but the view on the ground floor was of the street and you couldn't see the sea. When I asked the host, he referred me back to the booking.com listing which has all the correct pictures of the room but the sea view from another, higher up room. There was also no private parking as advertised so we had to park a few minutes walk away on the street. We weren't shown the patio so didn't know it existed until our last day and only when we asked about it. No tea, coffee, or water which would have been appreciated. Shower curtain was ripped and soap dispenser broken. Paying in cash and only told two days before arriving was frustrating, they should make this clear on the listing. All in all a good stay but if the listing was a little more accurate and honest, this would have been a much higher rating.

Beautiful little studio and right across the road from the water! Walking distance to everywhere in Kotor and the studio was clean and comfy!

Good location, shame about payment and parking

Small but well equipped studio apartment. Owners were responsive on WhatsApp when needed. Lovely location steps away from a ‘beach’ and a pleasant walk to Kotor old town with many sea-side restaurants on the way.

Owners asked us to pay in cash - due to ATM fees in Montenegro and card withdrawal limits this meant that the property cost us €15 more than advertised. We chose this property as there’s parking advertised on the listing but it’s just free public parking so hard to find a space. It would be good to reserve spaces for VerDi customers.

Great place to relax and explore.

The accomodation was very clean and modern. It was just a few steps to the shore and a small beach area.

It was a little inconvenient to pay with cash but it was ok.

We loved it - great location, lovely rooms and space to use, they were super helpful and friendly.

We liked how comfortable the room was, it was beautiful decorated and a great use of space. We loved the courtyard and being steps away from the water. Great distance to the town and lovely restaurants nearby!

Some tea/milk upon arrival would have been a nice touch. We had to buy soft mats to sit on as the sun loungers were expensive to rent/not set up at the beach - it might be nice if the property had loungers or mats and an umbrella for people to use.

The place was clean, exceptionally well-located, and the facilities were new. The hostess was always available, and willing to meet our needs.

Comfortable Stay Near the Old Town

The room was modern and well-furnished. Its location was excellent—just a 15–20 minute walk to Kotor Old Town, allowing us to completely avoid traffic. The seaside walk was lovely, with beautiful views, pleasant restaurants and cafes, and a relaxing atmosphere. Parking was also hassle-free, with plenty of spaces available nearby. Having both a washing machine and a dishwasher in the room was definitely a bonus.

Since we didn’t spend much time in the room, we didn’t mind that it was on the ground floor and lacked a proper view. However, the only and most significant downside was the bathroom. The shower area was open, and the floor was not sloped properly toward the drain, so the bathroom floor stayed wet for a long time after each use.

Lovely stay in a newly renovated hotel not far from Kotor old town

My room was really lovely. Very well decorated, all new fittings and a very comfy bed. I felt safe as a solo traveller there. Hosts were very nice and welcoming. Short walk into Kotor old town etc and was very easy to find walking from the bus station. Was lovely to wake up and literally stroll across the road to the waters edge 😍

There isn’t anything to dislike about this hotel! I really enjoyed my stay there. Only things that would have made it better would have been a full length mirror and a towel rail. Some complimentary tea and coffee would have been a nice touch to save having to buy for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again ☺️

Beautifully decorated and stunning views!

We had an amazing stay at VerDi, the apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is located outside of the old town, but is only a short and scenic walk into the town with many restaurants and bars along the way. We truly loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

The only downside was paying cash on arrival, as we were under the impression payment would have been taken by card before arriving.

Totally recommend!

The location, view from the apartment, and our overall experience were great! Totally recommend in general! The host was pretty friendly and helpful, and he did his best to communicate with us using translation software.

We were a little surprised that our booking payment wasn’t processed through Booking and we had to pay the booking fee in cash, which caught us off guard a bit and we had to look around for places to withdraw money. The apartment was clean in general but the towels were not spotless clean as I would prefer.

Nice big apartment with two bedrooms, big beds with perfect linen, fully equipped kitchen and very kind and polite hosts. The small beach and a cafe (which serves breakfast and coffee) is in front of you, Kotor old town in a walking distance. Perfect!

location is just excellent, few meter from the beacj, easy access but still not that crowded, parking was as well always to find. not far from aroma supermarket and walking distance to old Kotor city center. equipment a bit out-dated but ok, we are easy family. everything was working

It has an amazing view from the top apartment which we liked a lot, plenty of parking available nearby and it was quite easy to find a place. it took us 5-10 minutes walk to visit Kotor old town and other areas Finally, our host Hinje was very kind and gave us great recommendations for bars and restaurants,

the apartment has everything you need, very spacious, great value, clean and orderly. It is close to several restaurants, coffee shops, stores, pharmacies and others services. It is not in the centre of Kotor, but a 10 mins walk away. The owner is friendly and always available to help and answer your questions. We will go again to Waterfront Apartments when we go back to visit Montenegro!

Very Good

Everything is good, clean. bus station- 5min, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with supermarket and café around. We enjoyed the position of the accommodation a lot. Best value for money.

Her şey çok güzeldi. Oda geniş, temiz, manzarası harikaydı. Çamaşır, bulaşık makinası ve ütü mevcuttu. Türkler için en önemlisi Türk kahvesi için makinadır ve o bile vardı. Kotora yürüyerek gidebiliyor, çevrede yakın ve güzel restaurantlar var. Deniz hemen odanın yakınında olduğu için rahatça gidilebiliyor. Otopark sorunu da yaşamıyorsunuz çünkü evin önünde park edilecek yerler mevcuttu. Dimitri oldukça ilgiliydi. Küçük ihtiyaçlarımızı hemen karşıladı. Oldukça güleryüzlü ve misafirperverdi. Her şey için teşekkür ederiz.

Duş alırken etraf çok ıslanıyor ve zor kuruyordu. Bir de tesiste elektrikli süpürge olursa daha iyi olurdu.

Чистота в апартаментах, безумно красивый вид из окна, ванная в спальне с видом! Все аккуратное и новое, картинка полностью соответствует реальности. Даже пляжные полотенца фотогеничные) Дмитрий и Вера- владельцы, отзывчивы и доброжелательны!

Tür direkt an Strassenrand

Flexibel beim Check in.

Tür zum Appartement war direkt an der Strasse, nicht zu Gehsteig, direkt an der Strasse. Die Tür hatte auf der Seite einen 3mm Spalt, somit hörte man alles, was vor der Tür passiere deutlich. Durch die Lage der Tür rüttelten auch in der Nacht immer wieder Leute an der Tür. Da das Bett nur 1m von der Tür weg war, schlief ich entsprechend schlecht. Ich denke die anderen Appartements waren besser in diesem Aspekt.
