We had a wonderful stay at Angel Bali Suites. The staff were very kind and humble, and the cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The place is completely private and offers absolutely stunning views.The host was always available when needed and helped us fulfill all our expectations.

It’s hard to put into words what the experience of staying at Angel Bali Suites is like. Ayu is an amazingly attentive host who will assist you in any way you need. Waking up to the view is nothing short of spectacular with breakfast overlooking the farmers working in the rice fields a once in a lifetime experience. I have travelled the world and imagine this will remain my favourite place to stay for its simplicity and luxury rolled into one.

When we arrived we got warmly welcomed by the friendly owner and staff. Once they showed us around the villa we were so amazed! The villa is amazing, clean, and beautiful. The views are great and the jacuzzi is such a nice addition. The staff was very helpful and available at all times. Next to the villa is a restaurant where you can dine. This villa is a very romantic place to stay and we will definitely not forget about it.

Everthing was amazing. It would be nice if there were instructions on how to use the beamer. Also if it’s raining the swimming beds will get wet, so a little reminder to take them inside would be helpful.

The villa is absolutely stunning with the best views. It is comfortable, clean and private. We had such a relaxing time. I miss it already! Such a different experience than a resort. Perfect to start or end your holiday. The staff were amazing and so accomodating. Can message at any time on WhatsApp for any request or question; with a quick reply! They always message before entering the villa which was very respectful and private. The host organised for massage therapists to come to the villa for us on the second day. Perfect for a few nights stay, a relaxing retreat, or romantic getaway! We stayed 3 nights and I think that’s the perfect amount of time. Security is good. There is a staff member in a hut outside of the villa up until 7pm (which then you are encouraged to lock the gate to the villa if you leave). Feel very safe and our possessions are secure, the staff were so amazing and kind. Can not recommend enough! There is a huge net above the bed which keeps the mozzies and other bugs out at night, didn’t get bitten! It rained most of our trip but it was sooo amazing regardless. We made the best of the hot tub and enjoyed relaxing and the view. We got to hear the river flowing at night, the insects, and the quiet. It was so peaceful falling asleep. The suspended net hammock was awesome. The outdoor bathroom was gorgeous. They have a huge jug of mineral water (drinking water) in the room too; which was great. They have thought of everything. They even have a projector. We couldn’t sign into the Netflix on the projector but it also allows for hdmi and usb connection, so if you plan on using the projector might just be safe to pack your laptop and hdmi cable/or usb/hard drive :)

There is only one restaurant near by (it’s next door) which made our dinner options limited. Although, we knew this beforehand and bought some snacks and mixers at a minimart in town before heading up the mountain. If you want to hire mopeds (which the villa offers) and are confident in driving them on broken roads (pot holes), then you might have a couple more options. The food at Camaya was yummy, but we expected a bit more flavour to be honest. The cost is okay (but drinks a bit $$) but the restaurant itself is lovely, staff are lovely, awesome view, and quite literally next door to the villa. We went on a half day trip to sidemen which was nice. We went to the honey bee farm and coffee plantation, followed by watching how traditional sarongs are made and then did a silver making class. The cost of taxi to the accomodation and day tour was 850,000 rupiah (each). BUT this also is a positive in the sense that you’re away from the bustling tourism and get to stay among locals and out of the way of the busy Bali that you typically stay in.

We had the most amazing time here—it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. They were not only kind and attentive but also provided us with the most insightful local guide, helping us discover the hidden beauty of the area in a way we never could have on our own. The bamboo house was beyond stunning—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and full of charm. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the attention to detail was outstanding. We felt relaxed and at peace the moment we arrived. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up feeling like we were in a dream, surrounded by nature and beauty in every direction. We loved how open the space felt, with nature all around us—yet at night, we could close the soft curtains that wrap around the house, creating a cozy and private cocoon while still hearing the peaceful sounds of the outdoors. It was the perfect blend of comfort and immersion in nature. We were truly blown away by the entire experience. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful, and unforgettable stay with hosts who genuinely care, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!
