Great Location, Overall a Great Stay
Location is excellent, far enough away from Headingley that you're not bothered by the noise but also 5-10 minutes walk to the heart of it. Beckett Park is close by for dog walks & you can walk to Headingley station in 5-10 minutes to get into Leeds City Centre really easily. There's also regular busses from the Otley Road. Hosts were very responsive & quickly sorted an issue with the shower not draining. Off-street parking is very much appreciated. Beds were really comfortable. Heating was efficient and kept the property nicely warm. Having a full kitchen is really handy. Nice big TV in the living room.
Overall the property lacks a few little touches that would make it 10/10, things like larger towels for the shower (the ones provided are quite small), a few more kitchen utensils (no chopping board or wine glasses), somewhere to hang coats, the electric gate being fixed so we didn't have to open it manually. Overall it's a nice property, but you can tell some things have been done on the cheap. The road is quite noisy, not much can be done about that but the property does have single pane glass in a couple of the road-facing windows, if these were double-glazed it'd be quieter & probably better insulated. Honestly it depends what you're after, as a small family with an infant it wasn't perfect but given the price we were more than happy to make do. If you're up for the rugby/cricket or for a night out it'll be perfect for you.

Booking was cancelled the day before arrival.
I booked this house for a visit to Headingley cricket ground. The location was excellent - literally right outside the entrance to the ground.
Unfortunately the day before I was due to arrive I was contacted by the host to say there was some damage to the roof following a recent storm so I would be unable to stay. He offered me other accommodation which I declined so he arranged a refund. Disappointing but unavoidable.

A bit chilly in the evening, Shaver charger in the bathroom would’ve been handy and a bedside lights also in one of the bedrooms

Perfect house for Headingley stadium, clean and well maintained
The property is in a perfect location for Headinley cricket ground. The property was nice and clean with clean bed linen plus it had a good shower
The outside needed tiding up and some garden furniture
