Pleasant stay

Was a pleasant stay and very close to family in the area we where visiting. Flat was relatively clean and met our needs well. A bit pricey for what it was would stay again if price was right. On site parking was a massive bonus.

The main door for the building lock jammed on our second night no matter what I did, despite advice to lift lock and not put Key in fully, with 3 children in tow it was not ideal however maintenance guy came within half an hour and no further issues with the door the rest of the stay.

Excellent comfortable place.

Lovely quiet place with a nice little balcony. The beds are super comfortable and the place well laid out. We did our pots daily only to discover the dishwasher (right in front of us,we are clearly blind) on our last evening. The couch... Oh that couch. Impossibly comfortable. We didnt use the TVs so I can't say much about them but there was plenty of them. Internet worked great. Asda just up the road with an Aldi, b&m, Costa, McDonald's and subway. Due to the nature of our break and heading into town for a convention every day I can't say what the place is like during the day but it's an excellent place to stay of you wish to explore Leeds and find a place to rest in quiet on an evening.

One thing I didn't like was the noise when the hot water is running. Most wouldn't mind it, those who get migraines might have trouble tuning it out.

COCKROACH HOTEL STAY AWAY

COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE....in the kitchen/diner/living room and bedrooms. I contacted the host and their whole attitude was disgusting. I had endless ping pong messages stating I couldn't stay there due to the COCKROACHES. They would not cancel the booking even after I sent them photos of the COCKROACHES. In the meantime I had discovered another review about COCKROACHES.... So they knew about the COCKROACHES. I travel all over the country with work using Booking.com. Usually in 2 different host houses every week. They claim it's an apartment in a COMPLEX you are ACTULLY staying at is a council estate, with broken furniture and dumped cars in the car park. Nothing wrong with that I grew up on one. I spoke to Booking.com and even they struggled to contact the hosts about the COCKROACHES... I was in the property less than 90 mins 60 mins trying to get my money back due to the COCKROACHES. We left and booked in a hotel. The following day I spoke to Booking.com about the COCKROACHES and the hosts would only give me 2 days back not the 3, but Booking.com as a goodwill gesture and stressed caused due to the COCKROACHES gave me the 3rd day. STAY AWAY....UNLESS YOU LOVE COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE. I have also contacted Environmental health regarding the COCKROACHES. Back to the COCKROACH hosts, their lack of concern and compassion was disgusting.Then their later replies full of sarcasm. Pity full response. Cockroaches. I have a full copy of the messages if you require. To know what you're dealing with. I can only up load 4 photos but have many more.

Pleasant

The flat itself was really nice and decorated to a high standard. Big bedrooms and comfy beds and nice size kitchen and living area. Owners were also very courteous and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay.

Unfortunately alot of parts of the flatt were unclean...the fridge freezer hadn't been cleaned at all and there was a funny smell present. Little things like cutlery and surfaces could have been cleaned better...it wasn't horrendous but if you were a gremaphobe you wouldn't be able to stay. Another issue was the hot water...it didn't work and we had no hot water for the first night but credit to the owners who sent maintenance out to us the same night and again the day after to fix it.
