This place has so much potential! All of the negatives were easily fixed. Would stay again!

Perfect location. Quiet. Comfortable. Private.

There were a lot of normal, every day things missing. Eg: no hand soap in the dispenser (not a big deal, we brought our own). No toaster, no washing machine or washing services, no tea towels or kitchen sponges. We were given the wrong wifi and password, and when I sent an email I didn’t get a reply at all.

I regretted, it’s a time wasted for me to even got there I couldn’t sleep there I went to book another hotel that same night. My money has still not yet been refunded. The pictures on line is old pictures

The property was very dirty although I was assured it had been cleaned. the rooms smelt even with a window open so was very cold and only one heater worked. felt like an old student accomodation so not looked after.

DO NOT BOOK

The only positives were the location and the free car park, which were convenient for our stay. Apart from that, there wasn’t much else to appreciate.

The instructions to access the building and the flat were extremely long and confusing (several codes for the door), we even had to ask neighbours for help. The facilities are in very poor condition: a broken bed, a smelly shower room and kitchen, mould in the shower cubicle, a tiny sink, stained carpets throughout, a broken sofa. The flat looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com (for example, the bright blue sofa was actually a worn, broken grey sofa). We were genuinely relieved to only stay 1 night, as it was not a comfortable or pleasant place at all. I am actually thinking of asking for a refund as my family had to take a shower somewhere else.

Appalling. Would not recommend!

Nothing - paid for a night. Couldn’t even get in the room! Had to leave after an hour of trying, calling someone, had to send a video, had another resident try and nothing. Person on phone kept saying it was fine.

Everything. Looks good on website - area a concern. Looked very dodgy from outside. Dirty in corridors, people playing loud music and smelled strongly of cannabis!

Disappointment

Good location. Good instructions on how to access the flat. Good contact with the staff.

At first glance, everything seemed fine. Then came the disappointment... 1. No TV remote control. 2. The TV was crookedly hung on the wall and did not receive any channels because the cable was damaged. 3. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. 4. When we opened the microwave, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell and dishes with old food. 5. No wonder, because the microwave did not work at all. 6. The electric heater in the living room did not work. Only after replacing the fuse in the plug did it start working. (Good thing we're electricians.) 7. The only saving grace is the good contact with the staff. They wanted to send someone to clean... but it's too late. The flat should have been cleaned and the faults repaired before renting.

The stay as a whole was awful, we was told someone would come and fix the heating and wifi not never heard anything back

Absolutely nothing

The smell, all the damage around the hallways,it wasn’t as advertised, tv wouldn’t work or wouldn’t connect to the wifi, the heating didn’t work and was very cold. The banister was hanging off the wall and had around 4-5 missing railings also the carpet gripper was sticking up in the air which is very unsafe

Not a luxury apartment as advertised, but it did accommodate 5 as advertised. - Heating works well so made a winter stay quite comfortable. - Clean towels and bedding.

- Does not look like advertised; while it is descent for the value for money, you should probably manage your expectations. - Stairways to the property smells of damp. - Bed was comfortable for sleeping, however, my stay was not at all restful! Not sure what the building rules are around parties/music but there was (without exaggeration) loud music, stomping around, banging ‘whooping’, noise throughout all hours of the morning from 1200AM to 0900 when we checked out)! Never seen anything like it. - We had 2 mugs amongst 5 people, so might be worth bringing your own mugs for cuppas. - The pictures show a dining table to fit a family, but the one we had was a little one, which sits 2 and has little plastic-esque chairs (in case you wish to have a family-sit down dinner). - I can acknowledge that this is out of the provider’s control, but in hindsight, I would have explored other choices for better nights rest.

Lovely apartment looking forward to returning!

Great communication, always available to assist with any issues/requests. Central apartment and it had everything necessary nearby. Looking forward to rebooking and staying again, would definitely recommend.

Horrific we didn’t stay still fighting for refund

The location is the only possible recommendation

Access instructions provided were not clear. There is no one on site to help. The parking area is squalid. The access is up a narrow staircase, our room 3 floors up no lift no fire escape. We arrived after check in time to find room had not been cleaned from previous guests. Soiled linen,dirty toilet, blood stains on mattress. We found alternative accommodation as it was clearly uninhabitable but they refuse to refund. They took the payment 10 days before we arrived. Friends who dropped us off stayed to help us and were fined 100 pounds for parking there less than an hour. Booking sheet advertises all units entirely wheelchair accessible. This venue is not suitable for any one with any disability needs. There is no lift. Beware

Unfortunately we had an incredibly bad experience with this property, booked as it indicated a 2 bedroom apartment, this was not the case. We didn’t stay a single night, sent about 10 different what’s app messages but we were not accommodated. Please avoid

The price was reasonable compared to others in the area

We were given the wrong code to get into our apartment, and then spent around 25 minutes on the phone with someone who continued to give us the wrong code information and kept trying to get us off the phone despite the fact that we hadn't yet managed to get into the apartment. We finally were given the cleaners code to get in as the information we were provided was wrong The apartment wasn't clean, the fridge was disgusting, the bathroom was a mess and there wasn't any hand soap to wash your hands after you'd used the toilet The pillows on the beds were very comfortable and felt like sleeping on rocks The windows in the living room were broken and didn't close

Absolutely outrageous the worse experience of my life and completely sickening

The hotel was disgusting not cleaned the towels were so dirty, we didn’t stay there the 2nd night. This is the worst place I have even seen. It’s outrageous. I will be complaining everywhere and take it as far as I can this is a health and safety hazard.

Rotting bathroom floor stunk us out of the room

The location was perfect for our weekend activities and the price was very reasonable and the beds were comfy

A very strong and unpleasant smell from the bathroom. It had no extraction and I think the floor was rotting which can't be healthy to be breathing in. There was no way to let the moisture out and all of the fixtures were rusty. There was only one small window that we could open to let the smell air out. We spent a lot of the time with the front door open for air. We began to dread coming back to the room and especially we dreaded going to the toilet. The message we got for checking in was very confusing with multiple door codes that wouldn't work and the wrong WiFi info. We found the router with the correct info but it wasn't connected to the internet.

The property was in a good location, we had access to shops and was close to the Abbey.

It wasn’t very clean, no bulbs in the lamps, there was an open safety pin between the sofa cushions (one of which had a broken zip so wasn’t very presentable) which obviously with a young toddler wasn’t ideal. The fridge was broken so a lot of food we’d purchased was frozen. The shower wasn’t built correctly so took a while to work out as no instructions were left, The worst thing though was the fire alarms that constantly went off one evening to the point where we had to cut our trip short. Extremely disappointed.

Worst experience ever.

Nothing - It was disgusting.

Everything - we entered and exited fairly instantly. From ground floor it stunk of urine, weed and damp. When we entered the room, there was no light to the upstairs bedroom. The bedside lights were not working. With a medical condition, impossible for me to stay here. We have already sent pics of the crumbling ceiling with huge damp marks. You should not be placing this property on your site. Kindly refund in full.

Dreadful, shocking, pathetic, disgusting, disgraceful, worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in.

Absolutely nothing. This was by far the worst accommodation we have ever experienced. This place should be seriously investigated and shut down. It’s day-light robbery. They’re literally scamming people of their money. It’s shockingly bad and that is no exaggeration whatsoever. Pathetic, disgusting, vile accommodation.

Everything. Absolutely everything. Never thought a properly of this standard could exist and that too, charge you extortionate amounts. The bathroom was unbearable. Absolutely stinks. You can’t even breathe. It’s suffocating and not tolerable at all. The kitchen was filthy. Disgusting. Oven, hob, fridge, utensils, all filthy and dirty. Totally unacceptable. The bedroom is without doubt unbearable. Spiders on the bed. Dead wasps and bee’s across the windows. Dead flies all over the room. Bare walls on display with no plastering, paint or proper walls. It’s like a building site. The staff are rude, arrogant and unhelpful. They don’t respond with any questions, probably because they know the standards are pathetic. If you message them, they demand extra payment and clearly tell you they won’t help or answer questions unless you make additional payment. They’re a joke. These owners deserve to be imprisoned. They’re making a mockery of hard working people and stealing their money. What a shambles.

Lovely space just unbearably hot!

Check in process was great, good communication from vendor. Location and value for money fantastic.

Sadly we stayed here during the heatwave of June 2025, the facility was unbearably hot with no way of cooling the space down. None of the windows could be opened and there were no fans or air conditioning. The apartment remained in excess of 30c the whole night resulting in a terrible sleep. We checked out at 7am just to get some fresh air.

The girl I was with losing her shit over trump, screaming I was a pedophile and a rapist for not liking him and me having to leave very quickly and sleep in my car. However, I'm sure once I left, that she likely slept quite well. This is reflected in my score

Good for the money

Check in was super easy the host explained everything perfectly it was a last minute booking for me and my partner we booked and arrived at the property in 20 minutes and all details were sent over before we arrived. As for the apartment the beds were very comfy and there was a high quality tv. Bit of a lake view also!

There was no toilet roll and windows did not open sadly so wasn’t much ventilation. Couldn’t get the heating to work and the WiFi provided on the check in details didn’t exist. Could also smell weed on the corridors however this can’t be a fault of the hosts.

Stay ok a little cosmetic work needed scratch up walls near the tv and on tv . But overall ok

multiple beds and additional bedding in cupboard. Free Wi-Fi and parking however parking permit missing. Tea , coffee and sugar provided. Overall good

Lack of mirrors in apartment hard to do make up, fridge not working only freezer box . Burn on sofa and scratches on wall and tv , a little far from city centre but overall ok for a short stay .
