Served the purpose but would not book again.

A good location in close proximity to where I was visiting/working.

Couldn’t use the lift to 1st floor as it was broken so had to use the stairs. Not a problem for me but the stairwell is in desperate need of a deep clean. Lobby outside the studio apartment had a musty door that was really off putting. The interior of the studio itself was tired/shabby and could benefit from some renovation. Small touches make the difference I.e. the curtains closed but do not cover either side of the window.

Traveling can be an anxious experience and lodging is such a big piece that can disrupt the whole trip. The host is an amazing person that is genuinely caring and wants to work with people to make their stay as smooth as possible.

The elevator was partially broken for the second half of my stay, but maintenance guy was very nice when we let him know.

Joe was absolutely phenomenal, he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as best as it can be. And the room was exceptional and had all of the amenities you need, including a kitchen. An added plus is the free laundry on the first floor, which is very thoughtful. Overall, top not stay with top notch service from Joe.

The smell in the apartment made me not to enjoy my stay

The entire apartment was smelly.i had to buy airfrehner to spray the corridor and the room.The bedding was dirty and smelly.i had to buy my own bedding..I reported the matter to management.otherwise location of apartment is good as it is in the city centre .Thank you.

We have stayed there before and reported before. Great location , good hosts , all you need to self cater and cook. Quiet good value.

The lift was not working for most of our stay which made bulky luggage awkward.

The whole experience at Victoria house exceeded expectation. The host Mr Joe and his maintenance and housekeeping teams were beyond excellent with nothing too much trouble in accommodating guests requests. The studio apartment lacked nothing for a comfortable homely stay. Would highly recommend for value for money location and facilities for a perfect stay in Leeds West Yorkshire

it was OK but could be better

good location, good value for money

- weird smells all over, smelled like someone was smoking in the corridor, the room smelled like paint. - could be made much more pleasant with simple things such as a soap tray, hangers in the bathroom, larger cooking pot, kitchen towel… - storing spare toilet paper in the closet would be nice (one roll for 2 people for 3 nights is crazy) - getting an invoice was complicated. i asked for it via booking before checking in, they said to do it after checking out via email and to state to whom it should be addressed. still, they didn’t address it to my employer. - the host asked for ID via booking and via whatsapp. it wasn’t possible to send a file or photo via booking messaging, so i had to send it through whatsapp, which feels sketchy.

It was okay for a short stay but I wouldn’t stay here again personally due to lack of sleep.

The owners were really friendly via text and email and fast responding. The property was clean and had good facilities.

I just didn’t like that my apartment was on the front and my window didn’t close there was a screw stopping the window from closing meaning I hardly slept because of all the noise from the front of the street and the bed is exactly near the window. I also didn’t like that there were no curtains just blinds and the blinds didn’t cover the whole length of the window meaning light was int he room all the time, again making it difficult to sleep- I had to use a towel to cover the gap in the blinds. Furthermore it says the rooms are sound proof but they definitely aren’t as I could hear people in their rooms watching tv really loudly, kids crying and people arguing or even just talking. The blinds were also broken and had obviously previously been broken as pieces of paper were used to slot them back into the base of the blind.

How close it was to my office

Hot weather meant the windows needed to be open as there was no fan, but with the bed being next to the windows which is facing a bus stop, it was difficult to get to sleep

Excellent location in the city and very much enjoyed my stay there with only minor reservations

very good to have a key fob for the street door so did not have to enter the code after the first time: new since my visit last year

a few minor things in the room, not worth reporting immediately especially since I arrived at weekend, but I left a note about an electric socket that didn't seem to be functioning properly, possible loose wiring. Also the bedside light was v poor, couldn't possibly read with only that light. Provision of a decent reading light would be good. The shower was not very good: possibly I was incompetent with the controls but I couldn't get much power. The water was good and hot though, here and in the basins.

A cosy wee studio

Clean, cosy, central, a home from home, everything in the studio, fresh bedding towels, heating, had a great sleep, quiet, perfect and cosy. I will deffinatly book it again. So much to do and see, art gallery and sculpture gallery right across the street.bus stop outside handy to take a picture of map, Everything is within walking distance. A nice wee break.

Excellent Location, Clean and Hygienic Apartment and easy to access.

Rates were reasonable for the location, easy to access major spots of the city. Far from crowded city center, safe and well managed. The House Keeping was good, Hotel is self service apartment yet the manager was available on whatsapp and email / online all the time. Restaurants and Bus stop is nearby. Would recommend for ladies and first time visitors to stay here.

The property is very central, close to stores, a few minutes walk to the train station.

It’s quite small. Good for someone travelling alone but 2 people is a bit crowded. It’s also a bit noisy because of the location.

much smaller room than expected. not true to true online photos. widows are literally above a busy bus stop, you hear conversations and noise just by your window non stop; issue with water and shower
