Leeds Arena Luxury Appt

Great location, close to Leeds Beckett University and Co Op Arena and the the city centre The apartment was large and clean, lovely big windows that could be open to let in the breeze during our little heatwave. The instructions to get the keys and enter the building were lovely and clear, and the additional video helped. There was a small issue with the shower, but as soon as it was reported it was sorted straight away.

The only thing that let the apartment down was purely aesthetic, and that was the repair to the ceiling. However this did not affect the stay at all

I live the size, the kitchen and bathroom were very stylish. The location was great for the night life and shopping.

The bed. It was very small and the mattress was not comfortable. I think make the bedroom the same spec as the rest or the apartment would do wonders.

Excellent city centre location. Had been fitted out and decorated to a high standard. Plenty of hot water. The block itself was quite and felt secure. We would go again. Great communication from owner.

The only thing that we thought would have been useful was a rail in the shower to support anyone who was a little unsteady.

The location is ideal for the O2 Bank Arena and a short 7-8 minute walk into the city. There is a lovely doorman/caretaker keeping the communal areas of the building very clean, but he is not employed by the owner of this apartment, no. 502. (They also own 508 apparently and I suspect that is in the same condition.)

A photo doesn't lie! Shockingly unpleasant & filthy. Apparently the owner employs a handling agent who in turn employs the cleaner(s) & I use the latter term lightly. Apt 502 needs a THOROUGH clean. Finding a dried up contact lens on the bathroom sink within 2 minutes of arrival set the tone for the lack of cleanliness. Window ledges haven't been cleaned for years; bedroom ceiling botch repaired; dried flowers stuffed into the tv unit, stale food around the dining seat cushions, filthy old slippers in the wardrobe drawer & used toiletries, all for guest use! And don't get me started on the toothbrush holder. Dear G-d ...... The wifi didn't work, nor the hot water for 2 of our 3 nights. I was in constant contact with the agent who apologized and said both would be sorted, but reading previous reviews from as long ago as Nov last year, this is not true and the problems are ongoing.
