Houspitality Caesar Bed & Breakfast

Houspitality Caesar B&B lived up to previous reviews and was a great spot for our two-night stay in Rome. It was within walking distance to areas like Vatican City, Plaza del Poppolo, the Pantheon, etc. It was also within a five-minute walk of the metro or several major bus routes. We used the bus significantly to get to places like the Colosseum, etc., and it could not have been easier. As for the property, the communication ahead of time, and Gordon, the property manager, was excellent. He was very welcoming, helped us store our bags before we were able to check into our room, got us situated with breakfast every day and also took care of everything else on site. The room was big enough for two adults and a 15-year old child, although it was no frills. The beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was simple but adequate.

The only down side was that during an extreme heat wave, the air conditioning was not quite as strong as it needed to be. My sense is that it would be okay in ordinary situations, but with temperatures near 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it made for some hot nights.

there was a misunderstanding we thought we would get 2 rooms in one unit. one for us and another one for our friends. in the end we were forced to sleep in one room we tried to convince the proprietor that that was not our understanding, but she would not listen to our complaint at all. we then asked her to refund us so that we can go to another hotel but she refused. we even lodged our complaint to your representative who did not even want to understand our predicament. both the owner and your representative have very poor customer service skills. in the end we did not have any choice but to take the room. what one sees in pictures and the actual rooms it is like heaven and earth. by the way in the brochure it is written 3 rooms and they claim it means 3 people. .I think that is misleading, but now I am very reluctant to use your services in the future. in fact we cancelled the booking on our return from Athens.
