The host was very responsive to our messages and inquiries, very friendly and welcoming which we appreciated. The property was easy to find and located very close to the historical part of the city in a lovely neighbourhood. We had water in the fridge, coffee pods and tea and even some crackers and jam for the morning. The pillows were incredibly comfortable and so was the bed, in fact. Decent size bathroom, nice building and entrance. I appreciated the many shelves and hooks in the bathroom.
It's actually a large flat divided into separate rooms with the hallway used as a common area. This means very small rooms, crammed even and thin walls, so you'll hear everything from the adjoining rooms Also, no reception area per se. If you plan to spend all day wandering about Rome, it's a great option. If you'd like some extra comfort and a pleasant place to hang, not so much.
