Gran Turia Apartments

The accommodation was amazing! The apartment was sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located right in front of a park and within walking distance of the city center. The terrace was a wonderful place to relax, and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

The location was convenient, close to the airport and the Feria grounds. Also, the start of the Turia park starts right across the street. The inside of the apartment looks exactly as pictured. It was very clean. The host was very responsive. There were beers, and water in the fridge, as well as some coffee capsules, and black and green teas.

The apartment with "Garden view" is not exactly accurate, as the window and doors lead to the street, and everyone can see inside at night, unless you have the curtains closed. The garden view is meant that across the street and the road, the entrance to the Turia park starts. So there is not so much privacy, as it looks like from the photos. The kitchen had no dish towels, but other than this, we were quite happy. The host seemed to overcommunicate as automatic messages were coming frequently through Booking and Whatsapp at the same time before our stay, and it became hard to keep track of it, together with the direct messages. The neigborhood doesn't provide many or good options of restaurants or breakfast places.

Het appartement is zeer ruim, proper en is enorm goed uitgerust! Al de dingen die je maar nodig kan hebben waren er! Zeep (ook dreft), handdoeken, keukengerei, oorstokjes, watjes, voldoende wc papier, koffie.. zeer handig als je op reis bent met het vliegtuig en niet alles kan meenemen dat je nodig zou hebben om in een appartement te verblijven. Ook zeer handig dat er al zoveel is als je laat toekomt en de winkels niet meer open zijn om dingen te halen. Airco was top, apperment was zeer proper, verduisterende gordijnen aanwezig, bedden lagen zeer goed. Eigenaars/personeel zijn enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een top verblijf.

Er is niet echt uitzicht op iets als je aan de achterkant van het gebouw zit, je hebt wel een terras wat top is. Maar je kijkt op een muur. Niet perse erg, en hierdoor is het wel redelijk rustig achteraan, geen straatlawaai. Dus het viel niet perse tegen maar verwacht hier dus geen gek uitzicht. 😊

Location, close to all amenities and public transport. The design of the apartments was good, views from flat 1 were incredible. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stsy, beds were very comfortable. Cleanness is above average and they offer useful toiletries. Valuable instructions about usage of hot water, the rules of the house, the mosquito threats .. etc. There was a full length mirror in the living room. Big + for that idea.

The emergency lights at night were very annoying. No dishwasher, no oven, no washing machine, there were not enough electric sockets in the kitchen and thus the microwave which was placed on top of the fridge had to be moved to the kitchen counter to be able to plug and use it. In return the working surface in the kitchen was narrow. You end us using the dining table as an island. At night you need to close the curtain or passing by people can see you like in a window display. They should advise about it in the welcome card We had an incident with a drainage smell in the flat, they moved us to another flat the following day after complaining several times. In the other flat there was a leaking pipe in the bathroom sink. The main door lock was not working. We had to use the physical door key. They were conducting maintenance works in the flats next to ours on different days, so we heard the constant drilling which may not be an issue if you only go at night to sleep in but if you need to rest during the day it can be unpleasant. Booking the early check in is not worth it because their reservation system doesn't work properly and then the chatbot on wapp keeps giving you dead-end answers. If you speak to a human being they are rude with a condescending attitude, and they divert you to the app which wasn't working properly and which is why you are chatting with them. They do not bother to solve the issue but to apply the checklist approach to leave you in the limbo while using a smiley face emoji. Very poor customer support system.
