Fabulous stay!

Over the top!! The instructions we received from the staff to find the keys were clear and easy to follow. They were easily reached through WhatsApp and made us feel valued! The apartment exceeded our expectations: clean, with a sweet street view + it was calm and quiet.. The location was in the center and near all the touristic spots. 10/10

All in all we enjoyed a comfortable stay besides the lack of heating during the night.

The apartment was perfectly located, opposite the market, and very close to the city centre. Everything was clean and tidy.

They say that it’s the simple things that count, like providing sugar, salt, and pepper and there were no tea towels provided, which certainly discourages the guests from cooking. We found it difficult to control the heat from the air conditioning system, and had to request the heating to be turned on, which I suspect defaulted back to some automatic control system.

Well equipped apartment facing the Central Market and easy walking distance to everything in the old town.

I stayed in Flat 107 and the room looked exactly like the pictures. It has a good sized bedroom and living area with a comfortable sofa and a kitchen with a couple of tea bags and nespresso pods provided (no salt, pepper or oil). My flat faced the Central Market. On a colder day the air con warmed the place up very quickly. The double glazing shuts out any noise from outside when the windows are closed and the curtains and automated blinds keep out the light. It is directly opposite the Central Market and a short walk to the main square and the cathedral area or the station. The central bus station for long distance buses is a 25 minute walk. There is no reception or staff around but most of the time there’s a concierge on the ground floor. Checking in via WhatsApp was easy and once you’re in there’s a key. Arranging the €150 deposit was also easy and I knew about it because of other reviews. It was returned very quickly after I checked out. There are several convenience stores around. The cheapest probably the “Dia” about 3 minutes away. If you don’t want to walk everywhere (which you probably could) there are bus stops nearby which require one change to somewhere like the oceanographic or direct buses from the Plaça de Ayuntamento for example.

When I first arrived I wasn’t sure about the location as one of the buildings next door is currently scaffolded and there is an underground parking garage entrance and a bus stop between the building and the central market. While not charming in that respect I felt completely safe as a single female traveler and it was lovely to wake up to the view of the market domes. As some other reviews mention some individual bits are a bit tired but it is a very nice place to stay. More coffee and tea and a towel to dry dishes would be great for those staying.longer than a day.

Nice and tidy apartment in the heart of the city.

Perfect location just nearby the central market in the heart of the downtown. The style for the apartment is very nice also.

First time getting into the apartment was a bit tricky since not only the main gate of the house had to be managed via whatsapp sent link but upstairs the door also. We did not know that was a second gate so tried to enter with the code given for the apartment already. But this door entered only to a corridor (what looks very nice also) and the apartment opens from that corridor only.

The whole place is clean and and neat. The space is nice and is huge enough to fit a famliy of 4. Great value for money!

The location is kind of difficult if you have a car since there is not a lot of availability of street parking and parking on paid ones will cost a lot overnight but that actually isn't much of a big deal.

Great place to stay in Valencia with a family. The property was very clean, and the kitchen is equipped with everything family needs during the trip Nice service and central location. The parking (at additional cost) is next to the property at the Central market and is easy to access.

It might be a bit tricky to get to the market parking for the first time (you'd better drive with google maps to Parking Plaza Brujas Mercado Central).

Wonderful location and very nice apartment

The location is great, super central and close to everything in downtown. The owners were very friendly. The apartment was very nice and clean. The WiFi was great too.

Paying extra for early check-in, paying deposit and online check in through their links (It would be better if that’s possible in person. Everything was ok, but there is so much fraud online these days, that some people might not like clicking on the links outside booking). I didn’t have issues getting in the apartment, but it requires having mobile data. Might be easier if there is code without having to slide a thing to open the door on my phone.

A pleasant visit with some inconveniences that could easily be resolved and rectified by management.

the location was close to the market and old town. when we asked for simple things like wine glasses they were brought to the apartment.

it looked a bit tired and lacked overall maintenance, for example the fittings (tap and towel rail) were loose in the bathroom and the shower cubicle had mould on the grouting. both bedside cabinets were very wobbly along with the light fittings. The heating in the apartment was intermittent and when the weather went chilly it was uncomfortable.

Spacious rooms and a nice atmosphere I recommend

We were welcomed with orange and coffee and the keys were placed on the table right when you enter the room. Very nice room with kitchen having cooking utensils if you want to cook and everything works perfectly. The manager was really helpful, the big open market is right in front of the suites with access to banks, transportation and lots of foods to buy at 24/7. Also is a walking distance to the big center with tourist attraction. I recommend 100%and we will be back again thanks.

Location. Everything else is not worth the price asked.

Not worth the price. Lengthy communication with host, long useless mails and messages, before getting the needed information at the end. Cumbersome online procedure for deposit, which doesn't work every time. On top of that i had to remind them to pay back my deposit. Getting in is also a nightmare, you need a smartphone and internet. Small, dark room. Noisy. Sofa is almost impossible to use for sitting or sleeping. Chairs are uncomfortable, so there is practically no sitting opportunity.

Excellent location, new and well maintained apartment. Close to the Mercado Central - the Heaven of fresh fish, ham, fruits and vegetable.

Valencia is wonderful, but apartment sadly not so.

The location is excellent although in the old city anywhere is an excellent location. The view of the market was wonderful. The air conditioning worked well. The windows could be opened and were double glazed to keep out noise and heat. Sound proofing is good. The concierge of the building, nothing to do with Goerlich, was very friendly and welcoming even though she couldn't help us in getting access to the apartment when we arrived. Once we managed to get through to the hosts, they were very helpful in guiding us through how to enter the building and the apartment. Luckily my partner speaks excellent Spanish! It was useful to have a laundry room with washing soap etc.

Despite communicating with the hosts a few times before we left London, and having paid the full amount, they would not send us the entry code until just before check-in time, and not to the number we had given them. All communication was done through WhatsApp presuming internet access on the streets of Valencia while we struggled to gain entry. Texting would be better. We met another couple in similar straits. The flat is functional but somewhat uncomfortable. The bed was ok but you felt every move. The sofa bed has seen better days and kept flipping up once opened! The kitchen utensils are basic, poor quality. The dining area had 4 bar stools although only two people could sit at the bar. Luckily eating out is a pleasure in Valencia.

Don't judge a boom by its cover

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, I wondered if we were at the right place. Upon entering, it felt like another world. Beautifully finished and really tastefully decorated! Perfect location made for easy walking to some wonderful sites and restaurants. Really wonderful little unit

Nice room in an amazing location but lacking in service and amenities

Amazing location which was very central. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The room also had a great view of the Mercat Central de València.

Check-in was very confusing and a bit stressful therefore not a great start to our holiday. We were meant to receive an email to complete for check in ahead of our stay however this hadn’t happened and consequently had use mobile data or use a cafes WiFi to complete the form. There was no reception and all communication is over WhatsApp which feels a little odd and means that response times could take a while. The room had a kettle and a coffee machine but no tea bags or coffee pods which was disappointing for a room that wasn’t cheap. There was also no iron or ironing board in the room. When we asked via WhatsApp if there was one available it took until the following morning, once we’d already checked out, to let us know there was in fact a laundry room. It would have been useful if this was made more clear either at check in or information in the room as this would have improved our stay. Finally, although the room has a hair dryer it is of poor quality and would work for only about 2 minutes before over heating and not switching back on again until half an hour or so later once it had cooled down. Again considering the price of the room I would expect a proper and functional hairdryer.
