Good value for money.
Nice and spacious.
The location - there was rubbish outside on the floor and I didn't feel comfortable entering/leaving the property alone.

Came to stay the night with my daughter for yungblud concert, this property was Fantastic value for money! Clean, comfortable, warm, great location, easy to access local transportation, everything you need home to home
It was all fantastic, only thing is toilet seat not fitting the toilet I nearly lost my life when the toilet seat slipped 😂 but that’s not a bad point

It's a very tired property but was clean enough. Kitchen ok with oven, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, plenty of utensils and kitchen equipment, nice crockery and enough cutlery. Lounge large with a comfortable sofa and TV, coffee table, small table and chairs, a large wardrobe and a single put-u-up bed in the corner, should you need it. Windows in lounge had film over them for privacy as property was on main road. Bed was comfy and bedding clean. The seperate toilet and shower room were small but you could access them ok if you shut the door behind you but you would probably struggle if you were on the larger size. Shower was hot, toilet flushed. There is an Aldi, home bargains and Iceland just across the road and a chippy about 5 mins walk away. Just a distance from Hillsborough for the football and trams stop right outside. There is free parking outside in Barrack Road but due to the area we did worry whether the car would be there next day!
First impressions were very disappointing as the property is the first in a row that were very dilapidated and had rubbish outside that looked as if it hadn't been collected for quite a while. There was even a pile of rubbish on the steps alongside the property that go to the flats upstairs. It seems to have been an ongoing problem looking further into past reviews and unfortunately the owner seems to blame it on the management company of the flats? I would not put up with this and if I was renting a place out I would take it upon myself to make sure this was kept clean. The rubbish smelt ( wouldn't like to think what it would be like on a hot day,!) and I was worried about possible rats etc as it was that bad. It needs a good sweep up, bleach wash down and constant monitoring. As said, the flat is very tired but some improvements have been made from some of the other reviews. There was still a slight dampish smell as you entered the flat but air fresheners had been put in most places. Some of the flooring throughout the flat needs updating, a bit concerned about the sheathed wire coming out of the shower unit and back into the wall in the actual shower. Toilet seat still didn't fit properly but if you pulled it forward it was better, needs properly fitting. The TV was mainly Samsung TV so had to sign in to iPlayer etc which was ok but no ITVX as stuck on someone else's account with no sign out option. Oven could do with a proper clean but worked ok. We only had one hand and one towel left but luckily we had brought our own. We were out most of time during our stay but when there we didn't feel completely relaxed and comfortable to be honest. I just want to say, this review may seem harsh but we have been very fair and we have stayed in many places and don't expect 5* for the price we paid but it needs improvements. Sorry 😔
