cheap but a bit grim

convenient location, big room

lacked basic stuff even for a self catering room. says there's an oven but there is not, it's a microwave with a grill function and no rack so the grill function can't be used. no tea towel and no drying rack for dishes, no hand soap, one roll of toilet paper and one bath towel for a six day stay, the only pan was completely burnt and unusable. it also didn’t feel very clean, the carpet was full of stains including one by the bed where someone has clearly vomited. the lights including the small one by the bed are also incredibly bright so it feels like being in an office building or something. saw people pointing these out in previous reviews and the owner saying they’ll improve them but didn’t seem like any feedback had been taken on to me. staff at reception were nice though.

Excellent!

The accommodation is excellent, with a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, especially Jacob, who handled my check-in. When I return to Sheffield, I plan to stay here again.

Lovely place if you’re on a budget

Studio space, cheap and great location

Water services went down when I was there and plug sockets not working. Great place but also wet room was leaking through the floor and got my bags went there were on the floor

Ruined our mini break

Receptionist was very friendly but could do nothing when we raised issues.

No heating, no TV remote, room set up for one person when booking was for two. Management refused to speak to us when receptionist couldn't resolve our issues.

We survived and we feel blessed

For £40 a night it was just a good adjustment

Everything was okay but the mattress has bugs I guess, blanket and the mattress covers stinks & the shower was broke as well, it was just keeping popping out while you turn on the shower, no toilet paper, reception girl doesn’t even care or bother to provide one even after asking, very poor service and hygiene wise not that great either.

There was plenty of storage for clothes for a short stay bed was comfy ot was very close to a tram spot close to a big Tesco only a 13 minute walk from town neighbours are to noisy after a certain has good instructions to get to the room In different blocks

There was no oven in the room and not all types of utensils and pots eg collander/sieve microwave is flaky looks like its ready to go shower had built up of limescale on tiles and around of shower the wall by hob is a bit dirty where food as slashed on to the wall passed the flash back also the was a mop bucket bit no mop I wasn't given wifi password and I wasn't told how to get in the room had to go back and forth to find out information like pin for the master lock as we thought we needed a key for the door however we wasn't told the phob was for the door when we collected it we thought that was to enter the building and exterior gates one of the plug sockets got tripped i reported it but no one came out but I i sorted in end as I reset it by pressing reset It looked like someone didn't finish painting the cyling as with the light next the bed you could see to tone paint in the cyling

I wouldn't stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The key fob didn't work so we had to go back to reception (a long way) to get it sorted. There were hairs in the bed, the work surface was burnt, the saucepans were in really bad condition, there wasn't enough crockery for two people, the curtains were broken and the bed was uncomfortable.

Did the job.

It did the job, realistically wasn’t the cleanest or the quietest to stay, but was one of the cheapest places in Sheffield for the weekend and for that it’s fine. All we needed it for was a bed and somewhere to put our stuff and it did the trick on that.

Smelt a bit in the hallways and the rooms, one of our rooms was on the top floor right next to a massive generator, this was really loud throughout the night. The rooms were somewhat clean, like on the whole ok but around the edges and in the shower a bit dodgy. But it’s a student block so these things are normal.

Outstanding!

It was ideal. A bed sitting room with kitchen facilities and plenty of space. A ‘big’ Tesco’s is about five minutes walk away.

It was incredibly hot, even though the weather wasn’t. A fan provided in the room would be a welcome addition - if the local Tesco’s had had one I’d have bought it and left it behind.

There was no breakfast.

The bathroom wash basin was blocked during the whole of my five day stay, despite my having reported it on the second day. But it was not a disaster.

Not so good.

The room is decent with all facilities needed as it's students'accommodations and closer to transport links.

But they gave last floor room so it was super hot and windows couldn't also open fully since they locked it for safety purpose because of that we couldn't sleep properly.Also the bathroom sink wasn't properly functioning and had leak,not sure why wasn't it verified before handing over to guest.Also cleaniness was okish all the utensils to cook were not properly cleaned at all had all stain marks on it. Also we booked a room for a couple but they still provided single towels only and upon asking they wanted us to come all the way till the reception room to collect which is far away from the building room was allocated.

Location is great, clean, good communal areas, spotless kitchens, really helpful and positive staff. Excellent value for money.

Great property for the price as long as you aren’t expecting anything fancy, it is student accommodation after all!

Perfectly located for my needs, good price for how late I booked, like a Travelodge with mini kitchen which was great for few days stay also tramstop literally outside the building

We were at a festival close by so the location was good,the staff were really friendly and helpful ,it was quiet in the evening so sleeping wasn't a problem

staff were very friendly and helpful. speedy check in. rooms were nice with towels and shampoo provided.

the ensuite was extremely small and ended up soaked after you showered. the shower curtain would stick to you when showering due to how confined the space was. the mattresses weren’t great and neither were the pillows.

Too expensive for what we got and way to hot in the room.

Had a decent gym

Way to hot in the room felt like a boiler room, no AC and the window opens about 3cm. Had to sleep with a frozen towel otherwise I would of overheat. Rang the reception about it but they didn’t have any fans and nothing they could do. The room wasn’t the cleanest either, had a dirty cloth to wash up with and half a roll of toilet paper. Booked it for 2 and only had 1 set of necessities. Paid £160 which is crazy for what we got.

Rooms modern and sufficiently equipped. Plenty of hot running water! Kitchens equipped and supplemental equipment on request. I liked the few interactions with the other sharers. There were four rooms with shared kitchen, but there were only at most up to two others while I was there.

We had a heat wave. There is no air conditioning, the insulation is good, the windows are wedged nearly shut "for safety". It was hot in these conditions. Cold showers ensured sleep. It can be a bit noisy depending on whether your flat faces internal to the block or not. Nothing occasional wax earplugs could not fix! In short this is excellent value for money - you are not paying for a 4* hotel. I would stay again!

Convenient and comfortable.

I originally planned a short trip to Sheffield, but ended up staying longer than expected. The studio was well-equipped and met most of my needs. The internet was excellent, the computer chair was comfortable, and the desk had enough space to fit more than three laptops. The location was also ideal, right next to Tesco, a gym, and the tram stop. Surprisingly, it was also very quiet, making it a great combination of convenience and comfort.

The room only had one set of cutlery and a single mug, and the window doesn't fully open due to security features, which can make the room feel quite warm during hot days.

So sorry to say this but it was an absolute Shambles. Sad because. It is an amazing idea to utilise the rooms / bedsit, but there has to be a standard & a paid person on arrival instead of leaving it to security ( who were all Novices first day ?????? )
