Excellent location, close to West Street, Division Street, great pub 25 metres away, everything you needed in property - and super warm and cosy duvets - and great heating too. Recommended.
En-suite shower needs attention as shower head does not remain on bar so have to hand-hold it.
En-suite drains a bit smelly.

Excellent location, great little flat. Enjoyed our visit
Neighbours noisy at times, but not a huge issue.

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. Chris was responsive to messages and accommodating to requests. I appreciated the secure parking that was available.
Lighting in the bedrooms was quite minimal. I guess this might be preferable for some but I quite enjoy reading in bed at night but the bedside light was very weak and did not really allow me to do this. I had to leave the main light on. As I say, this is really a very minor thing and more of a personal preference.
The en-suite shower needs to be repaired as it cannot be adjusted for height and just slips down to the lowest position.
The second bedroom has no wardrobe to hang clothes. Very minor issue but I think it would make sense to replace one of the two empty bookcases in the room with a wardrobe.
The automatic bin in the kitchen did not work (I'm guessing the batteries were flat?) so we were unable to use it.

Nothing of note to not like.

Great location for the city. The hosts were fantastic. Yhe added bonus was secure parking too.
Perhaps needs a little TLC, but for the price it was still a great stay.

Close to city centre, has 2 bathrooms. Easy to check-in, approachable owner.
Towels were not washed properly. The smell of dirty towels was masked by conditioner. When they got wet it was a struggle to use them. We didn’t dare to use them on our faces.
The apartment was cleaned with some chemical stuff. The smell persisted even after the windows had been open for several hours.
The fan in the shower was counterproductive. It emitted the faecal smell . Quite unpleasant.

Fabulous location very close to Sheffield city centre. Easy to find and access thanks to the clear instructions sent well before arrival - in fact Chris messaged me even just after I made the booking with his mobile number which was a nice touch. The apartment is impeccably furnished (I need the name of Chris's interior designer), comfy beds, good wifi and fantastic hot shower. 2 bathrooms as well meaning nobody has to queue for the loo! There is also a parking space which is super handy and my friend got her SUV in no issues. Unfortunately I was only in the apartment itself for a few hours as it was a work night out but if I stay in Sheffield again I would definitely book this over a hotel and have recommended it to colleagues who travel from other parts of the country. Incredible value for money between 2 of us. I don't usually hand out 10/10 but this came close!
I couldn't get the heating to stay on but to be honest wasn't there much and didn't look for instructions although I'm sure there were some because Chris has thought of everything.

Great location , great apartment , had everything you would need and more !! Fab Sun trap in the private outdoor area, very relaxing. Chris kept in regular contact prior to booking and when we arrived , very helpful
Nothing comes to mind , we had two nights and had everything we needed , apart from maybe a couple of Gin glasses , but that is hardly something to complain about

Location is near a tram stop and walkable to the city centre
There was no hot water when we arrived. It got working eventually but the lack of a hot shower when we needed and ability to wash our hands properly meant our plans the first day were messed up. It was apparently due to an error after it was fixed.
There was only one set of keys which made planning our days difficult as we had to constantly coordinate with each other.
The beds were both small - barely a double. If you are tall or just not small/skinny then you will struggle with two people.
The whole place was really dark - even in June! There were few lightbulbs and they were all low light ones. Perhaps it is an energy saving plan by the owner, but it was annoying not to be able to see easily, especially when trying to cook. The floors were not very clean to walk around in socks.
There are quite a few stairs to the apartment so keep that in mind if you plan to travel with luggage.

Lovely spacious apartment in a very convenient area for visiting the hospital or university. Lots of places to eat and shops very close by.
Would have been interested to visit the Turkish bath next door if we'd had more time!
Chris was really helpful and flexible with parking arrangements.
All in all, great value for money

Great central location, parking was a welcome bonus. Comfy beds and perfect for a one night stay over, near to the University. Space enough for 4 people to relax without feeling on top of each other.
Not that it was a major problem but despite following the instructions manual it took ages before we could get the oven to work to cook our pizza. I think it was pure luck in the end that we managed it. Clearer instructions would be great.
Also, there are broken floor tiles in the bathroom which we had to be very careful not to step on in our bare feet.
Something else that would be very helpful would be some shelves or an extra table/surface in the ensuite bathroom and bedroom to place toiletries etc on, especially in the walk-in shower (nowhere to place soap meaning having to bend down, not easy if you suffer from back trouble).

I attended an event at the Diamond, about 200m away. Great location. Secure underground parking space was also very valuable.
Need more shelves in the bedrooms.

Had a lovely homey feel to it really nice
The only thing I could recommend is that they change the shower head as it was a little mouldy

Clean and well equipped. Central to where we needed to be.
A blind missing in master bedroom (the only downside to the whole apartment)

The hosts (Jen, Rob, Chris) were amazing - very accommodating and personable. They were extremely flexible in terms of our stay and I really appreciate that. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and such great value for money. Then there's the added bonus of the secure car park, and it's literally a minute walk away from the university.
