I would only stay if there is no other options

From the moment I arrived I was overly impressed. Thought momentarily I stepped out of the UK and into Asia. You could smell the cleanliness. Plus the lobby, social areas were visually appealing. The staff at reception who checked me in - outstanding. Moving onto the room I was very happy indeed. The room was immaculate, modern and clean. Very spacious room with a great view! Multiple entry and exit points for access to the building. Ultra-speed WIFI just identical to the speeds they have all over France. Really good to see the effort and design thats gone into this place - an example to all British based developers and Business people in the UK what accommodation can and should be like if all enterprise just pulls together and tries a bit harder to work with the good of the people. Definitely got the warm welcoming feeling that you are usually accustomed with internationally which was nice.

Having to leave - but all good things come to an end eventually.

Convenient but disappointing

The location to the university and the convenience of being able to cook for myself

It’s the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on on x I had to sleep on top of the duvet and cover myself over with my coat. Also the hob was not working so I couldn’t cook anything on it, I only realise this after I had bought and prepared my meal. The bathroom smelled musty. Also the lid on the kettle was broken which made pouting hazardous.

Decent short stay for the price paid

Clean, kitchen amenities provided, bed was comfortable and shower worked fine. Location is great and easily walkable to the city centre. There were plenty of shops surrounding Hollis Croft so you won't go hungry. Appreciate the earlier than usual check in and check out time (3pm/11am), and check in was easy.

The biggest issue for me is the very strong laundry/detergent smell which heavily affected my sleep and comfort (stayed on 2nd floor).

Hard to believe

it was nice for yhe first 6 ereks

I was moved out of my gold level studio after almost 6 weeks and placed in a bronze level which was very discomforting. I oaid for 7 weeks in gold but ha to stay in bronze for my final 9 days. I contacted booking.com to refund me for the last 9 days but they kept saying go ask holoscroft for a refund and holisctoft kept saying go them I really didn't like the way ivd been treated I feel cheated out of my money. guess I learnt the hard way. in all truth I know its bookings.com who made the real cash here and it was their duty as it was their platform I used for making the booking

It had a kitchen and little bathroom and both were clean There was a cupboard for clothes with hangers which was good

I arrived and found the bedding was dirty and had someone else’s hair (different hair colour than mine). The mattress was cheap or worn through as the strings nearly came through and hurt my back (I’ve got a back injury so sleeping was unpleasant) I found the cleaning fee of £60 unreasonable entirely.

Avoid this trap

They require an ID verification before you can check in - they didn't do this until 6 hours after I was due to check in (I just went to reception and they checked me in regardless). The room smelt like garbage - the room was right next to the rubbish storage and it came through the door. I ended up finding somewhere else to stay for the rest of the weekend because of the smell. The room was also dirty - the chair for example was stained brown (wish I would have taken a photo). The room also looked nothing like the room and wasn't very nice.

Disappointing

It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, I cannot say anything good

The oven which I believe was a mix of oven and microwave did not work at all. I tried all of the settings and not once did my food heat up. Secondly, I found black hairs in the bedsheets which led me to the conclusion that the bed sheets were not changed prior to my arrival. What was absolutely atrocious were the pans which were in the accommodations. I have pictured as evidence but they were completely rust and pose a serious risk to health and safety. Completely insurance and dangerous for use to cook whatever it is. Furthermore, there were dried up yellow looking stains on the walls of the bathroom, which I count distinguish what it could be. Another bathroom problem was that the drain in the shower was not cleaned which cause a lot of water to build up. Again all of which I have taken pictures of. In combination of all of this, I was completely disappointed considering that it was a stupid facility and therefore I believed that I would have the privilege to enjoy cooking myself meals, which was not the case, given the circumstances with the pans.

I liked the location how accessible it was to everything. Rec room along with its other offerings was very nice as well.

The beds, at least my bed. My mattress was a bit rough to sleep on since you could feel the springs on the mattresses when you laid down.

Lovely and value for money

I love that it's in the city center and everything is accessible by foot. It has everything I need and very clean when I check-in. Had no issues during my stay and I would say this is definitely value for money!

leider lag das Hotel nicht sehr an der Innenstadt, und der Bahnhof war auch weit entfernt. Mit großen und schweren Koffern kann der Transport zum Hotel herausfordernd sein.

Très bien pour un stage dans le cadre des études supérieures.

J'ai apprécié le personnel toujours à l'écoute et présent pour m'aider. J'ai également apprécié la taille de l'établissement et tous les espaces communs mis à disposition. Je n'ai pas participé aux événements mais c'est une bonne idée pour faire des rencontres.

Les lits était très très inconfortables. Au début du séjour il était encore possible de dormir, à la fin de mes 3 mois je me réveillais systématiquement avec un mal de dos. De plus, les appartements et la laverie n'étaient pas toujours très propres. Malgré le nettoyage, il y avait toujours de la saleté dans la salle de bain et sur ma kitchenette également.
