great location and very well stocked, some places dont provide enough cutlery and crockery, so it was nice that this place does!

The house was spotless

The main problems were the overgrown grass and the difficulty of finding parking.

It was a very clean property, with a decent location and lots of places to eat nearby.

My biggest issue with this property was the mattresses on most of the beds. The mattress in the bedroom next to the bathroom was broken on one side, with the springs coming out, and it felt as though you sank into the bed. The mattresses on the top floor were very similar. The only bedroom where we could comfortably get some sleep was the one facing the main road, but unfortunately, it was very noisy at night. Even that mattress wasn’t particularly comfortable, although it was still better than the others. Additionally, the pillow covers had a strange smell and didn’t smell fresh or clean. Other than these issues, the property itself was great. If the owner could replace the mattresses and ensure the bedding smells fresh and clean, I think the property would be much better and provide a far more comfortable stay.

The house is very nicely done up on the inside, relatively newly renovated, and everything worked well. Overall the rooms were comfortable.

The neighbourhood is not bad, but a bit dodgy, and while there was street parking available outside we decided we were more comfortable paying to park at the relatively close by train station. We didn't realise it on arrival, but the house was full of perfume emitters plugged into the wall - which triggered a migraine in one of our party, so we lost an entire day because of it. We politely mentioned what happened to the owners, and that they should be aware that a lot of people have allergies to such things - to which the response was "we'll look into it"; without so much as a "sorry". There is also a large drop outside the main bedroom, as the stairs are one step off being aligned to the hallway (so you have to step down, then back up) - not great for wandering out of bed in the middle of the night half asleep...
