Not really a comfortable stay

Location is 5-10 mins from the centre and 5 minutes from the attraction we were visiting Nottingham for. WiFi is of reasonable speed and consistent Check in was smooth no issues with the codes for the key safes, either that located outside the building and or those inside for each studio

We had 3 rooms Everything is a bit tired and worn and shower rooms/toilets are small and pretty cramped. Bedding is clean but on further inspection the pillows underneath looked old and worn and sweat stained. In my room the shower head is in dire need of a deep clean or a replacement, also the bracket that holds it cannot support its weight and just flops therefore you either, A) have to hold the shower head and clean yourself one handed, or B) just wedge it in and have it spray water in your face. My friend in room 3 had a dreadful night on the Friday his room was next to the adjoining house and he could hear the house party that started at 3am. Whilst I appreciate the venue does not control their neighbours they could invest in some soundproofing so that guests aren’t impacted. The other member of my party in Room 1 could hear everything going on above again sound proofing would help here. He also reported that as he was below ground his shower basin wouldn’t drain the only way he could get this to happen was to get out and flush the toilet and activate the pump.

Perfect to visit UoN

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean, well-equipped, and very well located. The best part is definitely the location, especially if you’re visiting the University of Nottingham. There’s a bus stop right in front of the building, and the bus goes directly through the university campus. I stayed here for about three to four months, and the convenience was unbeatable.

I didn’t have any major issues during my stay. Everything worked well and the location made daily life very easy.

Great location, quiet environment, and a very responsive host.

I really appreciated the excellent location. I am in Nottingham as a visiting researcher at the University, and this property has been extremely convenient. The bus stop right in front of the house goes directly to the University of Nottingham, with buses every five minutes during term time and a night service every hour after midnight. It’s also close to supermarkets, which made my three-month stay very practical. The host was also great — very responsive and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. If I needed anything, he was always helpful and quick to assist. The space itself is comfortable, and the neighbours were quiet, which made the stay even better.

We had an issue for entering the property it was a pretty complicated entering you have to put the cord and to get the key it was pretty complicated and he wasn't anybody and building to ask for help that was in the beginning

Didn’t get the room we paid for, we were given a small attic box room that’s not even on the photos, had to leave the room and go across the hall to the toilet and shower.

Shocking 😱!

The utility was good and design

Floor boards above sound rotten and you can hear every move up stairs. The shower connection was coming off the wall the plumbing system was really loud the room was damp and cold in the summer time , the bed sheets were damp, we were also transferred over to this from our original better booking.

They did not accommodate me, no one was there to attend to me. I need my money back

It was okay for the basic stay for a few nights but could have been better.

It was a nice set up and had plates, cutlery.

Dirty toilet roll, Small hole next to toilet, Small hole in door The tap for shower was hanging off the wall, Cracked skirtings, Plates and bowls were wet ( on arrival ), No tea towel, Tv was in a awkward spot, On arrival, toaster was left on and was too close to sink and it was wet underneath so could have set on fire, Fridge wasn't in a high setting so our milk that we just bought started to turn, Skirtings underneath cabinet was hanging off, Staff couldn't understand what I was saying over the phone and a bit off miscommunication.

Avoid! Dirty and run down

Nothing, left and found somewhere else to stay.

I turned up to a room which hadn’t been cleaned. Still had somebody else’s empty cans, dirty towels, unflushed toilet, used bedding etc. Was given another room in the basement. Room had no aircon, the shower didnt drain properly, after i got out of the shower i noticed the whole bathroom was flooded due to it leaking from under the shower tray. Sewerage was coming up through the plug hole in the shower which could be smelt as soon as you entered the room. The water in the toilet was almost up to the seat and wouldn’t drain making the toilet unusable. Was then offered another room, also in the basement which i declined and asked for a refund as i would find somewhere else. Over the phone i was asked my phone number so i could be contacted on WhatsApp to provide photos, and was told i would be refunded for the room. I supplied the photos to the phone number from Pakistan which contacted me, but have had no reply to my messages and no refund issued. I also had 2 other rooms on the same booking as there was a group of us staying. The following morning my friends said there were parties going on all night with banging until 5am. And also noticed rats in the garden. One friend also then left to find a hotel to stay in for the second night. The whole experience was really bad, i regret booking this place. Horrible run down place to stay. Can only upload 4 photos but have alot more and i am currently in the process of reporting to booking.com

Terrible, worst experience ever

The location was good and it was convenient to have a kitchen facilities.

It was a nightmare, the property manager cannot be contacted. There was a violent party in the above room, we called booking.com and had to book elsewhere after 1 night. They refuse to refund. There is a smell of drugs in the hallway from the party room upstairs. The extractor fan did not work, the TV kept switching off after 5 minute timer and the bed was oddly placed in the middle of the room.

After a bit of panic on arrival, everything settled down like a dream.

I could get into my room just as soon as I had all the combinations.

I needed to phone you to find out the combinations. But I probably should have brought along my smartphone (with email) instead of just my classicphone (without email).

Awful. More like a hostel for ex cons!

Price. But that proved to be too good to be true.

There was nothing to like about this place. We arrived and the key to our booked room would not work. We could not contact the "Host" so had to contact Booking.com to sort. They arranged an alternative room in the same building which was much smaller than the photos would lead you to believe, was in the basement and we then had to experience a couple of other residents fighting over money being owed and another resident being threaten with major injuries if they ever came back to their room in the building. This took place in the tiny corridor outside our room. It was so bad and made us feel fearful and disgusted that we booked a local Airbnb instead and left. It looked clean, bright and spacious in the Ad and we didn't expect much else for the £68 it cost us, but we did expect it to be accessible and safe. It was not. I do not know who you rent your rooms to but it is more like a hostel and your other residents seem to be long term residents with anger issues.

DIABOLICAL photos don’t do it justice!!!!

Terrible! Had to visit a family member in queens medical centre that was distressing enough hes fighting for his life so I needed a place to stay to be here to prepare for the worse news. Iv travelled from burton on Trent (45)mins away to false representation of a room I had to pay £74 for in the loft conversion toilet out the room red hot room window don’t open no channels on tv bed wasn’t double and was terribly noisy whole place was grubby and the noise from the other guests was terrible absolutely no respect for other guests the whole stay was appalling and the staff not much better lack of response. How you can expect anyone to pay £74 for that experience is absolutely shocking and appalling and should be very ashamed. I definitely would not recommend this to anybody at all. And even now the matter hasn’t been addressed and dealt with just all round poor. Still waiting for a refund and have emailed booking. Com personally.

The door didn’t lock. Host said they would fix after I left. Spent a night worried sick that my stuff wouldn’t be in the room when I returned

The value for money was good, facilities were nice but cleanliness was bad.

The location is nice, the price is good, the bed is very comfortable and an en-suite is nice.

There were large water puddles on the counter-top and floor when i first arrived. I cleaned this with one of the towels, which then turned brownish so I don't know what that was, that was weird. Also the bathroom light does not turn off properly, it just flickers for hours, which is not ideal. Also a small bedside table would be a big improvement, there is space for one but for some reason the space is just empty, I found that weird.
