Nice stay but exhausting going up and down the stairs with the luggage

Nice and cozy apartment as seen in the pictures. Good space and everything clean and tidy

Shower in the bathroom is on the back of the toilet which is really uncomfortable and to get to the apartment you need to enter a back alley and climb a lot of stairs (no elevator available).

Not worth the money, old house with no elevator, everything was very old, gas stove had one switch broken, dishwasher was not cleaned and full of water, no wifi, sofa smells like tobacco... With the money you pay for a day you can fix half of the broken things in the house.

It was a great place at a good price for a short stay in Zurich. Exactly what we needed.

The location is near several easily walkable bus and train stops, and there are a few grocery options within a few minutes. There was adequate sleeping space for our family of six and the kitchen facilities worked well. The hosts provided some of the cooking basics which was appreciated and had everything we needed to prepare simple meals during our short stay.

It’s in the city, so it’s easy to hear people outside and in the surrounding apartments chatting away, but that’s to be expected, but important for non-city dwellers to be aware of. There is no air conditioning, so consider asking if fans are available if you run hot or are used to AC (we didn’t, so I’m not sure if they were).

Great value for money

Well furnished flat, especially kitchen. Very very spacious flat in a quiet neighbourhood. Fully functional kitchen with all equipments, utensils and spices. Lots of dishwasher soap, cleaning liquid, detergent. Nespresso machine broken but instant coffee was available. Universal chargers were provided. Ample number of towels. Hot water available 24/7. Host was very helpful through out- from getting the key to helping in the operation of the stove. There is a coop nearby and other provision stores. Apartment is near to Giesshubel and Spiz station.

No lift! Apartment is on the third floor and we had to carry up our luggage. There is only one bathroom cum toilet which makes it difficult for large groups and the lighting and ventilation in it is poor. No exhaust fan in it. Sharing Washing machine is in the basement (scary place) and if someone is using (3 hour cycle) then no way you can get your laundry done.

In English: 1. The floor in part of the apartment makes noise when you walk on it. 2. Third floor without elevator. 3. The internet doesn't work. 4. The host is not good; it was a real "treasure hunt" to get him to explain where I could get the keys. Em português: 1. O piso de parte do apartamento faz barulho quando anda. 2. Terceiro andar sem elevador 3. A Internet não funciona. 4. O anfitrião não é bom; foi uma verdadeira "caça ao tesouro" para ele me explicar onde eu pegaria as chaves. En français : 1. Le plancher d'une partie de l'appartement grince quand on marche dessus. 2. Troisième étage sans ascenseur. 3. Internet ne fonctionne pas. 4. L'hôte n'est pas très serviable ; obtenir ses explications sur l'emplacement des clés a été un véritable parcours du combattant.

La ropa de cama y toallas estaban muy limpias.

A la llegada era un día nublado y no teníamos luz ni en el baño ni en el pasillo, además de tener el interruptor tapado con una nota que no se podía utilizar, tuvieron que venir a arreglarlo horas más tarde. Es una vivienda muy antigua el baño es muy pequeño y anticuado, al no tener luz da una sensación de suciedad, y para ducharte por la tarde noche resultaba un poco incómodo porque las bombillas que nos pusieron no alumbraban lo suficiente. La cocina también estaba sucia con lo que tuvimos que limpiar todo lo que utilizamos, la nevera no enfriaba. En la habitación no teníamos persiana por lo que entraba al sol y por la noche resultaba un poco incómodo por la calor que hacía. También nos encontramos muchas avispas revoloteando dentro del piso.
