A decent value but I personally would not stay again.

Room was updated, clean, comfortable and not too small. It was only about a 5 minute walk to central section. Bathroom and shower were clean. Parking garage only a 5 minute walk and not unreasonable (15-20 franc for overnight).

64 steps up to apartment. No a/c that we could find, just what appeared to be a dehumidifier. Washer/dryer in basement (79 steps) and you need a card to access it. It wasn’t in the room and we asked for the card, but did not get a reply till after we left. With the windows open, it is loud, I would say very loud. With the windows closed it is not bad, but it becomes stuffy without air-conditioning. Local parking non-existent.

Good overall but unresponsive property management

Everything during my stay was quite ok and uneventful. Facilities are fine and comfortable enough. Personally, wasn't bothered by anything related to comfort, climate or noise. Only spent one night (arrived late and left early) and for that it was totally fine.

The only downside, and very sad to be so, was that there was no contact nor response from anyone. Sent multiple messages and tried to reach out via phone a bunch of times after my stay and never heard back from anyone. If you're on a business trip and/or expect to get a receipt/invoice for your stay in this place, avoid it. On the other hand, if you'd just like to spend a few casual cheap nights (for SG standards) and favor no human interaction for any reason, this is your place to stay! Sadly in my case I would've appreciated a response, even if it's no longer necessary at this point.

Good stay. Recommended.

The apartment is spacious and clean. The bathroom is nice and newly renovated. Necessary appliances are provided. The location is 3 mins away from the main station by bus and 17 minutes by walking. Many restaurants around the area.

Only bath towels were provided. No cutting knife only bread knives. No kitchen towels too. The apartment is a bit dark, more lights should be installed.

Three floors up and can only be reached by stairs. The booking indicated that there was a washing machine giving reason to make the booking. However, there is no washing machine. The room was also not clearly marked.

Central, clean and comfy

Perfect location 5 minutes from the city center and very close to the Kulturfestival my friend and I attended. Comfy bed, clean apartment, perfect for one night.

A really nice apartment but an experience badly marred by abysmal communications by the owner

Excellently renovated apartment within easy reach of St Gallen centre.

Apartment owner's communications skills appalling. On day of arrival received lengthy message boasting about the apartment and its environs but giving the wrong lock-box entry code. Cue hours of wasted time and expensive international calls to get into the apartment. Apartment description also strongly implies it has a washing machine and dryer which turn out to be in a basement four floors below.

Wonderful place!!

Wonderful place. Fantastic communication with the owner and great understanding and sensitivity to the needs of visitors!!! The apartment is located in a fantastic place, a minute from public transport and 3-5 minutes from shops, pubs and cafes. Kitchen is equipped with good Bosch appliances and enough extras to prepare a morning or some quick hot meal. We also appreciated the very comfortable bed and natural bedding and pillows that were not made of cotton wool. Bravo!!!! We always had a peaceful and comfortable sleep, thank you. The bathroom is large and spacious, and the apartment does not have a boiler, so hot water is immediately available and you do not have to wait for it. There is a small table on the balcony for morning coffee, a view of the sun-drenched tenement houses and the high-climbing trees of the park behind them. A view like in my beloved Copenhagen, what more could you want?!! 😀 Since we arrived on Christmas Day, the apartment was prepared for us quickly and was spotlessly clean, for which we thank you very much once again, it was very nice. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see around the lake, for those who travel by public transport like us I recommend three-day tickets for the eastern and western part of the lake at the main train station in St Gallen. Buying them paid off for us on the first day, because the trip to Mount Santis itself would have cost more than this three-day pass!! Staying in St Gallen and in this place is one of our most beautiful adventures. Thanks a lot for all, we already have missed that place 😊

for we lacked a few more small kitchen utensils, a larger knife for cutting e.g. bread, wooden or plastic utensils when frying in a Teflon pan and not destroying it or scratching it with something metal, or larger, preferably wooden chopping boards.

sono settimane che cerco di contattare la struttura per avere la fattura visto che si è trattato di un viaggio di lavoro ma nessuno mi ha mai risposto. appartamento al 4° piano senza ascensore. il riscaldamento non funzionava. c'era una stufetta elettrica, totalmente inadeguata a scaldare una camera che è rimasta molto fredda.

Sin lavadora ni aire acondicionado, justo las razones por las que habíamos reservado. Había lavadora en el sótano pero funcionaba con una tarjeta del edificio que no teníamos , como no obtuvimos respuesta nunca supimos cómo conseguirla.El anfitrión no se dignó a contestar ninguno de nuestros mensajes, sólo el primero para decirnos que el alojamiento no proporcionaba tarjeta gratuita de transporte para el turista. En el resto de alojamientos que tuvimos en Suiza nos la proporcionaron sin pedirla. El aire acondicionado consistía en un pequeño ventilador con agua. La calle muy ruidosa y hay que subir varios pisos. La cama bajita, muy incómoda y una especie de puff tirado en medio que no daba sensación de limpieza. No es un apartamento para repetir

Appartamento bellissimo, in pieno centro

Siamo stati a San Gallo nei giorni centrali di agosto dove in centro c'era il San Gallo Fest e l'appartamento è in una zona super centrale, molto comodo alle vie del centro, molto ampio, ben insonorizzato, pulito e comodo al parcheggio sul retro. Ben fornita la cucina, il bagno molto grande e la doccia molto spaziosa. Il letto molto comodo. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

L'ingresso posteriore dell' edificio che porta al parcheggio purtroppo era pieno di sacchetti delle immondizie maleodoranti con larve nei gradini e sotto il tappeto. Era difficile passarci oltre evitando di calpestarle ed evitare il cattivo odore delle immondizie. Sicuramente non è colpa dell' host e dell' appartamento ma non è piacevole passare da lì.

Super ausgestattetes Appartement in fußläufiger Nähe zur Altstadt. Perfekt geeignet, um das Klosterviertel zu erkunden.

Bei geöffnetem Fenster war es bei uns leider sehr laut, weil gerade gegenüber gebaut wird. Für uns war's ok, empfindliche Personen könnten sich gestört fühlen.
