Maybe a pair of slippers will be welcome as we need to go outside of the room to get to the bathrooms.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is perfect… quiet but still close to everything I needed. The host was very friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything for a pleasant stay. Parking was easy to arrange, and the check-in process was smooth.

Cozy location close to the Abbey with the friendliest host ever!

My room was very quiet with a very comfy bed and it was squeaky clean. The town center is within 15 minutes walking distance and the highway connection is literally 1 minute away. This location has a superb value for money. Special mention for Markus, he is one of the friendliest hosts I have ever met. He greeted me personally at 11:15 PM in front of the hostel and provided a super comfortable late check in. In the room, I found a hand written welcome note with golden coins for complimentary coffee. You can really tell that he puts a lot of love in this Inn. A big thank you Markus, I really appreciated your genuine kindness!

Amazing. 100% recommended

Very kind and helping owner. Perfectly clean rooms with 2 welcoming water bottles, clean towels and overall room. Enough bathrooms for all guests, no need to wait or something like that. Location is good, only 25 minutes walk to city center. Near by all possible shops and restaurants. Very easy to find and to check-in. If you are coming with a car enough parking lots. An exceptional combination of price and quality especially for Switzerland.

Excellent short stay on a detour from EV15 cycle route

Very cool setup, easy to check in with key safes by the front door. Loved the YouTube video welcome message! I stored my bicycle in my room, good security. Very clean. Each floor has cooking facilities and there's laundry too.

I didn't spot shared bathroom when I was booking (I may have missed this). Each floor has around 8 bedrooms which share around 3x showers and 3x WCs - which was fine with me, more of a hostel setup which is cool. I had to carry my bike up around six flights of stairs to store it in my room.

Exceptional value for money

It had everything including a desk with a screen and extension power cable. On my floor there were 3 showers and toilets, so I think you never need to wait if you want to shower.

The pillows could be a little bigger / more confortable. I think it would add big value if you want read or watch or play something on the phone while sitting on the wall in bed before sleep.

Best value for Money in St Gallen

Outstanding host, Markus is by far the nicest host I have ever seen anywhere in the world. He is super welcoming and offers complimentary coins to have coffee/hot chocolate etc. The room and the entire property are super clean and even the toilets, though shared, were always clean and smelling nice. The property is near many restaurants and grocery stores like migros, denner and also has pharmacy nearby. Easy to find, we drove our car, and it is better if you book directly through the website of yellow inn as you also got to book your car parking in case you are driving.

Friendly host and clean.

The host is just amazing. I did not think that a hostel/hotel can be so clean. It was perfect! I was travelling for work and it was perfect location since my event was right in front of the hotel.

Be aware, the toilets and showers are shared. But they are very clean! I thought it would be tough but it was quite a pleasant experience

I really loved this place. It's a nice location - around 20 minutes to the train station and less to the city center. The room was great - enough space, clean, warm. All the facilities and the room itself were pretty clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

Good budget stay

The apartments are approx 20 minutes away by walk from the train station, easy, however bit hard to find the entrance as no sign on the road. Room was comfy, the surrounding area around the showers were bit slippery and also bit dark, considering the small stair. Checkin - check out was self made, as no reception. Room was very clean.

Excellent price / performance.

Location is excellent. The buses leave every 5 minutes from outside the building to the main train station and center of the city, or its a 20 minute walk. It is also a pleasant 15 minute walk to the University. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they take a great pride in keeping the rooms, common areas and bathrooms clean and functional.
