It had everything that we required for an enjoyable stay & a great location to access a variety of of trips

Cleanliness, Everything had been thought through ie; cooling fans, and we had everything we needed, very comfortable bed, open aspect leading to a small shrub boarder patio area, with patio table and chairs for two people. The situation of the property was ideal, for traveling to York by Bus and leaving the car behind, the village had co-op, small Sainsburys, chemist, and a thriving Millers Fish and Chips take away and restaurant with its own car park at the back. Just three Cons; the large Patio curtains not wide enough to close, one curtains ruffle heading all bunched up so not able to close to its width. We had no problems, but if you had little ones or were not steady on your legs; the walk from your car to to side front door was rubble and on a narrow slope, instructions on where to put the compost bag underneath the sink unit when it needs emptying and when you leave, a neighbour just happened to be walking by at the time of leaving, no other waste information was available.

Lovely stay, property was great and just like the photos. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and great little patio area. Quietly tucked away off the main road. Definitely visit the butchers in Haxby - outstanding.

Extra lighting in en-suites would be helpful along with a bottle opener in kitchen 😉

Loved the property very tidy and clean a lot of eco products which I love. Great location as we have family in Haxby.
