Amazing stay in an amazing property.

Great location for us as visiting family in York. All facilities and equipment were excellent - good quality and carefully thought out. An amazing welcome pack waiting for us on arrival and even a Christmas tree had been put up in the accommodation. Very helpful and responsive owners.

Home from home spotlessly clean modern property in quiet location outside of York

Home from home property Warm, spotlessly clean and finished and furnished to a high standard Quiet location on a farm It is 10 min drive from York and 5 minutes to supermarkets Lovely hosts who had left very welcoming fresh eggs and apple juice from the Farm and a beautifully decorated Xmas tree Got snowed in on our departure date and hosts very kindly allowed us to extend our stay for a few more days Our Cocker Spaniel loved the walks in field outside the door

Great location to York and a lovely modern farm cottage in a peaceful setting.

There were lots of extras in the property- butter, eggs, milk, bread, fresh apple juice & jams. This was really helpful to get you started, before heading to the shops should you arrive late in the day. And, most importantly it was dog friendly with no extra charge.

The bed was a little firm, but that is my own personal opinion, and the duvet was a bit heavy for summer.

we absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to book again. fantastic location within the most beautiful setting. loved waking up to the ducks every morning, watching the sunset on the patio and being surrounded with wildlife, yet having the city also on the doorstep. absolutely beautiful - just like the owners. so warm and welcoming! loved every minute in our new favourite home from home.

The location was scenic and quiet. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hosts went above and beyond to make our holiday more enjoyable. The extra thoughtful touches in the cottage were beautiful—fresh flowers on the table, a dog basket with a new blanket and treats. A lovely hamper was waiting for us with lots of lovely goodies. There was milk, eggs, bread, jam and marmalade. The owners thought of everything which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely return.

There was nothing I didn't like apart from the rain on a few occasions.

Fabulous break with my son and his two dogs. Lovely accommodation and very welcoming owner.

Arrival was smooth and communication with the owner was very easy. interior of property was immaculate and the functionality of the space was great. It was ideal for our two dogs: although large beasts, the adjacent paddock was fantastic for walking them (under strict control of course because of all the wildlife). Beautiful surroundings with lots of birds and animals including wild deer.

Lovely break with family of 3 generations and 2 pets

Location was excellent, close to Park and Ride for York, but out of the city and in a rural setting. Cottage was excellent and extremely well equipped for our needs

There were safety lights on in the property and outside and so for anyone sleeping in the lounge area, we couldn't turn them off as I believe on a timer.

A perfect mini break

The property was extremely well equipped and to a very high standard. The rooms were all immaculate and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. The owners were more than accommodating with any request. If you’re unsure just book it. You won’t regret it. A lovely peaceful getaway and great for access to York.

I don’t want to share how good this place is - everyone will want to stay here!!

What a find!!! I LOVED everything about this property & I can be quite fussy! The location for us was brilliant (we did drive, it may be more difficult for those who don’t drive) the property was immaculate with some really thoughtful finishing touches, without it feeling over the top. Very light living spaces, with plenty of room & you had plenty of privacy which has been cleverly thought out as you are in close proximity to other holiday properties. I loved being within the farm! Plenty of parking, very dog friendly with lots of helpful touches like dog parking, hoses to wash down, dog poo bins! Spotlessly clean, modern, relaxing and homely. I CANNOT wait to come back!!

My one negative, we did arrive quite late so it was very dark and it took us a while to find the right property off the main road - so maybe some lights in the sign might help but that is all I can think of.
