Cozy and comfy quirky cottages. ideal location for visiting York, Harrogate and surrounding attractions as a group. The owner was extremely helpful with directions and local information. The staff were very approachable and keen to help if minor issues arose. lovely setting on a Farm that also serves as a wedding venue.Fab restaurant very close by - Alice Hawthorne Inn at Nun Monkton
Not a dislike just an observation: As converted historic properties inevitably there is a little variation in floor levels in some places to take into account

Cosy comfy clean apartment near York. Good amenities toaster, microwave washing machine kettle & fridge. Complimentary jam tea &: coffee. Owner communicated well with directions to property & Lodge number & key was in door when we arrived. Car park right outside door. 2 separate bedrooms was a bonus travelling with teenage daughter.photoscaccuratle reflected property.
The bed was very squeaky & squeaked every time we moved. My husband & I had a laugh. . We were so tired we fell asleep.

Cute place, friendly owner, enough space, good mattress.
One room is about 8 feet from a busy road. Luckily we didn’t have to use it but it would have been too noisy to sleep. Dryer of the washer/dryer combo did not work.
