Definitely like to rebook

Lovely place .

Location was brilliant , and the lovely touches that the owners did ( left a dog bowl and towel for feet etc ) also the bottle in the fridge was lovely. It had a homely feel and well equipped. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nothing to do with the caravan it was just that the onsite bar/club house was closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And the little shop had closed for season.

Great host, spotless caravan and great location and site.

Easy to book, great instructions from the host and very clean. Site pub friendly and made very welcome.

We had an issue with loss of pressure in heating due to a leaking radiator which was rusty in the bathroom which we sorted and let our host know about but the radiator let the rest of the spotlessly clean caravan down a tad. The only other thing missing was a cleaning cloth or sponge. In the past we’ve taken our own but they’ve always been supplied.

A lovely three days in a lovely holiday home

Everything little thing had been thought of. We had a toddler and a dog and everything we needed was there.

Exceptional

One of the most beautiful and clean places we have stayed. All the little touches in the caravan made it feel luxurious. Everything was thought of, tea, coffee, sugar, body wash, dog bowls etc etc. Board games for the kids. Site was quiet, caravan is well situated. Little shop close by serves hot butties and sells essentials. Nice walk into knaresborough, scenic route takes around 35 minutes to get up to the castle. Retail park across the road from the site. Large grassed area on site to take the dog, and there is access to a woodland walk- we only did a short walk of this due to bad weather.

The weather was poor however the games in the caravan meant we could still keep occupied whilst the rain cleared up ☺️

I loved everything about this caravan. It is exceptional and gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness, the little extras that were left for us upon arrival. The communication. I love the little bottles that are in the bathrooms and kitchen. The location is fantastic.

Amazing place very tastefully decorated, everything you need for a self catering holiday, spotless, lovely touches ie milk biscuits tea and coffee etc not forgetting the bottle of prosecco. Would definitely return if in area.

Felt like a home from home and had everything we needed!

Abbie was a fantastic host … the holiday home was really well equipped and beautifully decorated. And very well equipped for young children! It was a really nice touch to leave a bottle of Prosecco, so nice and very much needed after a very long journey with two small children!

The Sanctuary is just that!

The Sanctuary was really comfortable, had great modern decor, and is set in a brilliant location. A lovely half hour walk into Knaresborough along Abbey Road/ the river and plenty of lovely pubs across the town.

Relaxing winter break

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was well situated on the park with all the park amenities near by. The caravan was exceptionally clean, the beds and pillows etc were very comfortable and spotless. There is a lot of attention to detail in each room and the welcome items from the host was lovely. We got the bus at the bottom of the road to Knaresborough and walked back along the river. Then we got the bus into Harrogate and got the train back, so was good to have so many options without having to drive. Ran out of time to get the train to York - so next time! We had a very relaxing break and would definitely stay again.

Just had a fantastic 2 night stay at The Sanctuary with our dog. We had a great time the Sanctuary was so comfortable and cosy with lots of extras, milk, proseco, coffee and chocolates left by Abbie.. Abbie was a great host and very quick to respond nothing was any trouble. Knaresborough is lovely lots of dog friendly pubs to chose from and about a 25 minute walk. I would definitely recommend staying at The Sanctuary to any friends and family and will definitely visit again.

Faultlessly, beautiful accomodation. we will return and will recommend to our family and friends.

Everything about this accommodation was wonderful. The little finishing touches helped to make our stay perfect. The beds were so comfortble, the kitchen was lovely, the seating area was very spacious and the TV entertainment package was the icing on the cake.
