Pleasant and spacious.
Beautifully clean. Great parking and nice patio area. Comfortable pillows and duvet. Plenty cleaning equipment. East door key instructions and directions by email. Books and games in snug if needed. Selection of takeaway leaflets available.
Quite dated in decor. Notes on pink paper all over giving warnings. Really not necessary to tell you don’t leave your child unattended in a high chair and not to use deep fat fryer when there wasn’t one there. No instruction for job or microwave dispute all the notices! Not much cutlery. No long mirror. Smallest bedroom had no mirror at all making drying hair difficult. No hand soap or wash in loo so we had to go buy some(never had to take our own before)

Comfortable place to spend the night, but not well equipped for longer stays
Large living areas. Big bedrooms. Clean. Modern appliances.
No soap or toiletries supplied in bathroom. Checkout (10am) is strictly enforced, which is quite early and surprising for an expensive property. Few facilities of the type you would normally expect at a barn like this (e.g. no games, books, etc). Much of garden out of bounds and locked. Owner appears to be rather anal and the house is (literally) covered in notes about how to do and not do things.
