The location and the views of the river and surrounding countryside. Very comfortable bed and well laid out kitchen and lounge area. Historic nature of the building and information about it on the wall. Handy for shops and railway station even though there was such a rural outlook.
Nothing of great importance. Some previous reviews mentioned being cold, so I took plenty of warm clothes and the heating worked fine when I needed it.

Location is ideal for walking into Settle
Spacious apartment - good amenities in apartment for the 2 of us for a 3 night stay
Subtly decorated although slightly tired

I do feel only receiving the access code after having to call them up at 4.30pm on the day of check in when we should've apparently received them at 4pm - inconvenient after a 5.5 hour drive arriving in the dark and rain. Very tight for an automated system that is late to send the info. I appreciate you want to maximise the handover time between guests but to expect the guest to have to chase an access code 30 minutes after the check in time, just tight.
The brief was out of date as the wifi code and access info was incorrect
We found the apartment very cold - they choose the times it comes on and apparently it is 2 hours am and 2 hours pm - they would not tell us what the times are though - they control remotely so you cannot extend that window unless you boost the system every time and that only boosts for about 15 minutes so in the night when its really cold it is not ideal - even after calling up and emailing the temperature was pre set to 19 which again I feel is tight!
The apartment itself was not locked when we arrived and the door ajar
The bedrooms are comfortable however I do feel if you are joining two beds together to make one then a topper would make it more comfortable as to avoid the divide between the beds.
Property is on a main busy road, so noisy if you are not used to road noise.
It was a pleasant enough stay but I do feel for the cost - the coldness and the late check in reflects our score

The codes to get into the property were not available for the time we advised we would arrive. I had to contact someone to get the page refreshed.
Internet did not work, we use it to plan our days out. It was resolved quickly.

Excellent location. Loved the layout of apartment, felt v spacious. Nice and warm. Loved sitting on the window seats looking out on the amazing views and listening to the sound of the River Ribble

Beautiful location next to the bridge and river. Has one allocated parking. 24 hour access. Very hot water. Comfortable beds and bedding. Larder fridge but no freezer compartment.

The apartment needed a spring clean as there was cobweds in the light fittings. Also they need to check the lights as a bulb was out in the dining area and over the basin in the first bedroom.

Great facilities and location to town. Good parking as have a 4x4 and issues to park in a rural village.
Colour scheme had changed from picture advertisement. Doors missing on the wardrobes. Cobwebs on the lights.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Good location - walking distance to Settle - and centrally located for the 3 peaks. Clean and good value value for money. Nice views of the river.
It didn’t bother us, but others might like to bear in mind - busy road outside (heavy lorries passing), only one parking space, no lift to 2nd floor, only 1 bathroom for 6. BUT overall good value for money. We would book again.
The water stopped running on the morning we checked out, so no showers or toilet flushes that morning. We called the agents and they seemed to be on top of sorting this out when we left.

Location is spot on for food, shops and the train station so no need to use the car, highly recommend the chippy and local pubs inc the talbot for food plus plenty of shops. We also saw kingfishers, bats and loads of wildlife from the window of the apartment. This was a lovely suprise. The beds are reasonably comfortable. Shower was great and nice to have the additional sink in double room. Lots of original features in the property which is lovely and the decor was nice. Great place for local walks along the river. Easy to check in to the property with good instructions and an entrance hall for dirty boots etc.
Cleanliness - some issues with this. The windows in the living room covered in what I presume was dog saliva or something? This is a shame as one of the best things about the apartment is the views. Some of the cupboards very dirty with bits of food in which was very off putting. Crumbs on the coffee table on the welcome pack and the kitchen floor all near the fridge. No freezer either, not even a small draw in the fridge, which wasn't ideal as we had ice packs we needed to replenish. Some noise from the road which is only a real issue if you are a light sleeper like me, everyone else slept fine. It was also quite chilly in the evenings. The light bulb in the double room is so dim you can't see anything when the blind is shut, not. This property has the potential to be five stars if they just took a little more time with the cleaning and a few other niggles.

The location was excellent - really nice views out across the river and the hills. I liked also that it was an old building with character, and that the electricity came from a water scheme the other side of the car park. The apartment had enough space for us all, lots of drawers and hanging space in the main room that we used for two people and we could take our dog. It was close enough to the town and station for us (we did not have a car), we got out for lots of walks and other trips in the area by public transport and could hire a mountain bike in town. I also liked the seating area in reception, good for meeting up and getting shoes on and off etc. Once we had got it warmed up, it was quite cosy especially in the lounge, which had comfy sofas, a good TV and effective Wifi. There's a small welcome pack in the kitchen for those first cups of tea and a biscuit!
There were lots of little things that if improved could make it so much better. e.g. the curtains were cheap and hard to close or just decorative, which we wanted to because there was a lot of chill coming from the windows even with the blinds down. There were several non functioning lightbulbs (I counted 5), a broken blind and some kitchen basics missing e.g. a bread knife. We also did a washing only to find the tumble dryers wouldn't work and there isn't anything to dry things on in the apartment (just one airer downstairs). The Yorkshire Dales can get very muddy - it would be really helpful to have a hoover in the apartment to help keep the floors a bit cleaner. There are some inconsistencies between the guide / website and reality e.g. checkin is at 5, not 4, no mid stay linen change (we were there >7 days).

Sehr besonders, da die Apartments in einer alten Mühle sind. Die Steinbänke geben der Wohnung ein schönes, rustikales Ambiente.
In’s Zentrum von Settle braucht man max. 10 min, zum Bahnhof ca.12. Viele verschiedene Wanderungen können direkt vor der Haustür gestartet werden.
Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas kompletter sein und einige Ecken etwas sauberer. Ansonsten alles super!
Achtung: es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl!
