The cottage was well located within easy walking distance of Settle along local footpaths. The cottage was fairly well stocked with most things we needed for our stay. It was ideal for our large family gathering to celebrate a special birthday.
The rooms were spacious with plenty of room for everyone to sit together downstairs.
It was good value for money especially considering it was Easter during our visit.
It was lovely to find a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge and some eggs to welcome us to the cottage.
The hot tub was a particular hit with our grandchildren, who spent as much time as we would allow them to play in it.
Cottage was lovely but dated with some of the kitchen equipment provided in need of replacement.
It appeared that it had not been as thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival, as I would have expected. There were finger marks all over the fridge door and sides, the microwave was grubby and very dusty, the insides of some kitchen cupboards were not as clean as I would have liked.
There were a few things which would have been nice to have in the kitchen, like a measuring jug, decent scissors, sharp knives (there we some but they didn’t cut well), long handled sweeping brush and a mop for the floors.
Having said that none of the above spoilt our stay in any way.

The property is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Plenty of storage and space for big groups (there were 9 of us) and the hot tub was an added bonus! WiFi is great, and plenty of room for socialising as a group. The hosts were EXTREMELY accommodating and communication with them has been fabulous. Highly, highly recommend. Definitely somewhere we will be returning too.
