Perfect position in lovely town. Lounge and dining suite were very comfortable. Bedrooms upstairs were large and beds very comfortable. Was wonderful to have two full bathrooms plus a toilet room downstairs.

The location and the property, both exceeded our expectations.

Great place to stay in Knaresborough

Great location, on the Riverside and within walking distance to town. Host Julie was fab, and kept in contact. The property was clean, tidy and comfortable and had everything needed for our stay, even had milk in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee, cookies and ice in the freezer which was a nice little touch. Would recommend to anyone, as there is plenty to do in Knaresborough and everything in walking distance. The property was easy to find and had private parking.

Fabulous stay at this lovely River House with great views in a great location

The location is amazing right in the river front with the added bonus of on site parking. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, with beautiful bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The host has provided everything you need in this accommodation for a wonderful stay.

A fabulous place to stay in central Knaresborough. Our host Julie, was always available and happy to answer any questions and would highly recommend this lovely home.

Breakfast not included but was no problem. We came prepared with essentials. All facilities for cooking ourselves was available. All crockery and cooking utensils were in new condition and essential to our needs.

Stunning location and stunning views.

We celebrated my dad’s 90th birthday, along with my dog. The location is perfect. My dad managed the climb up to the town and castle. We didn’t use the car once. We got the train into Harrogate. We were lucky with the weather, Knaresborough was beautiful. The property is very comfortable, especially the beds. Amazing views of the river. My dad got a bottle of Prosecco and a lovely note from the owners. We absolutely loved our stay. Two of my pictures are the view from the bedroom.

No garden for my dog. Not really dog friendly, no dog bed or treats. It would be nice to have a bench down by the riverside. The water pressure upstairs is very low and sometimes just a trickle. However these slight negatives would not stop me from returning and the River House is still a stunning place to visit.

High quality property, excellent riverside location, with easy access to town centre facilities and all local attraction

Immaculately presented, with very tasteful fixtures & fittings. The property has been equipped - and is clearly maintained - to a very high standard throughout. Beds, linen & towels were every bit as good as those to be found in a luxury hotel. Excellent, friendly communication and helpful information provided by property owner.

No major drawbacks. Water pressure from shower could perhaps be better. Parking space is rather ‘tight’ (though very close to property and secure)

Location was excellent,as was the house.Contact with host was very easy.

Parking car was a bit of an issue,very tight access. 2 small points on housekeeping,Would have liked bigger towels ,and in one bedroom and bathroom no bin.

Beautiful Property by the Lake

The property was very clean and comfortable and is situated right on the river and just a short walk into town. The host was accommodating, allowing me to check in at a slightly earlier time, and was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.
