The River House was a fantastic place to stay. Close to the local attractions and right on the river. Perfect for exploring Knaresborough! We saw so much in just a few days, we visited Mother Shipton’s, had a trip into York (just a short ride on the train) and rowed boats on the river. We also had a good go at completing the Knaresborough Real Ale Trail (17 pubs!). The house is immaculate and a peaceful place to relax after a busy day out and about.

Tight entrance to car park- you need a fairly narrow car.

The house had everything you could need. Very clean lovely decor. Private parking is a great bonus considering it’s location.
