Perfect for a quick stop over

We (5 of us) were visiting for my son's graduation from the Army college and wouldn't arrive until very late and leaving first thing. It was clean, tidy, had tea and coffee and was cheaper and nicer than the local travelodge. The bedding for the sofa bed was in a storage bag under the bunk beds. After spending 10 mins looking for it, it was pointed out that all the information needed was on the info sheets on every door in the property. Turns out I was just too tired to see them! Also, loved the quirky decor. Nice to see some personality instead of grey walls or 'rustic chic'.

The bathroom has no light switch, and the light is motion sensored, which i didn't realise until visiting it at 4am!

Heating didn’t work in the main bedroom. Very loud neighbours in early hours of the morning with them running up and down the stairs and slamming doors.

We loved the quirky decor in this flat. It had everything we needed for self catering stay. Ideal.

Self contained , access was straightforward and Jesper the concierge was helpful.

Ideal for a couple for 1 night, a bit small for a longer stay

Nice to have a living room area, nice location, very good access instructions.

It is very small- when you get out of the shower there is no alternative than to be touching the toilet while you wrap the towel around you and the sink is only about the size as a medium hand. We agree with the owner’s comments that the price reflects the size, but just bear in mind there’s nowhere to put anything. It was absolutely fine for us as a stopover on the way north and would be ok for 2 people only, but would not have wanted to stay longer than one night with 3 of us.

Don't waste your money.

Property is converted flats off the high street, no soundproofing at all and could hear yelling from another property. Place was incredibly cramped, no storage for clothes at all (a coat hanger or three on the back of the doors doesn't count) and no doors opened properly without hitting something. Place felt very unsafe and insecure as doors couldn't be secured and you had to trust the coded smart locks. Decided not to stay and requested a refund, no contact at all from the hosts other than automated messages.

Excellent communication from owners, a short taxi ride into the centre. Clean, quiet apartment & flexibility with check in time. Well equipped kitchen.

We didn't stay or even sit on the furniture in the property.

This property is foul!!

I have no positive comments to make regarding this property. It was dirty, old, smelt so bad. The front door didn't lock, you had a wedge to keep it closed. The oven was that dirty, someone had drawn a heart in the dirt. The property had no resemblances to the photos shown on Booking.com site. I called the owner, who agreed immediately for a refund, which I'm still waiting for. This left my son and I for the next two hours, trying to find somewhere to stay for the evening.

Enough for our needs. Lots of facilities for a small space which was great. Lots of extras. Shower worked great. Comfy bunk beds. Quirky decor makes it interesting. Great host.

Smaller than anticipated, a bit cramped with 3 children. Noisy by the roadside. Double bed a bit hard & uncomfortable. Everything else was fine.

Very noisy from outside noise (on a very busy road) and can hear neighbours talking (says sound proof but it’s not). Apartment is very small…three of us stayed which was ok but not much space for our belongings. If 4 stayed it would have a squeeze! Double bed very hard. Towels very small. One night was plenty.

Micro apartment with good facilities

The location was great with lots of local amenities nearby. The information sheet provided in the apartment was great, very clear and detailed and answered all questions we may have had during our stay. The communal store cupboard was a great addition to know about. Compact apartment complete with everything we needed for a couple of days stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Very minor improvements to cleanliness. Quite dusty and some dirty marks in some bits and a lot of the dishes we took out to use hadn’t been cleaned properly. I loved the bathroom door but it does take up quite a bit of space making the bathroom feel even smaller. Also struggled with the lights being on a sensor as even in the shower etc the bathroom lights would go off so was often left in darkness. But again, minor inconveniences and didn’t impact my enjoyment of staying. Unfortunately it was very very warm during our stay and the cooler setting on the fan heater didn’t help so maybe a couple of proper fans would be a good addition to the store cupboard

Apartment 6 was a disappointment, however location was very good

The location of the apartment is good. There is a bus stop close by that takes you to Harrogate centre. Bus and taxi costs are reasonable.

Apartment 6, access was via a very steep external staircase with no handrail at the rear of the property. The apartment was very small, unclean, and did not reflect the pictures on the booking website. It was advertised as a self contained apartment with cooking/food preparation/ fridge facilities, however it was far too small to practically use. The room appeared to be in need of maintenance, repair and a deep clean. Overall, we were very disappointed with the apartment and would not stay here again, however the location was good. In addition, the main building apartments 1-5 accessed through the main front door, may be a better option for anyone considering this property.

It smelt bad really bad window was wide open when we arrived so thought the smell was from the cleaning chemicals but after a day or two it still smelt
