got an e-mail in the morning with the code,as advertised

I'm always a bit twitchy about being e-mailed pass-codes and suspicious digital locks will fail, but both of these worked impeccably. Providing tea-bags and wee sachets of milk-substitute in the full-size fridge was a very nice gesture. The Private Eye montage on the stairwell was an excellent and quirky idea.

Well, it would have been great if I could just have parked right outside. But it really wasn't a problem to go around the corner: the map, directions and photos provided were excellent. Bathroom basin was a bit small for wet-shaving.

The location was great. 2 mins from the train station and the bus stop outside and plenty of free parking. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything needed. Bathroom was clean and the shower very good. Early check in and late check out is a great benefit.

The floor of the apartment was filthy and needed a good mop. The fridge froze everything that was put into it as the temp was set incorrectly but got it sorted. The photos on the listing do not match the actual quality of the apartment. The wall hangings were full of dust along with the plastic plants. the furniture old and tired and the sofa was covered in stains and needed covering to be used. The bathroom floor tiles are all smashed and no working fan The towels were small and did not smell pleasant. Not as sound proofed as stated. Holes in the wall had been filled and not painted and it was very dark. Would benefit painting in a light bright colour.
