Pear Tree House is an eighteenth century cottage in the centre one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire, Sutton-on-the-Forest, (8 miles north of York) in beautiful Hambleton. It not only offers period charm, but because it also features a glass-roofed extension containing a large open-plan kitchen and sitting room, it's also stylish, well-equipped, attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. Perfect for a week's holiday, short break or short let, (minimum stay - 5 nights). Stays of 7 nights receive a discount.

Ben and Rosie, the owners, live next door at The Smithy. You share the graveled courtyard with them. They are often available to answer questions, provide recommendations or deal with any issue that arises. But they live quietly and will leave you in peace to enjoy a quiet holiday unless you ask for them.
