Plastic not fantastic

Girls at reception speak English and are very helpful.

The family room has no basic amenities like a fridge, or electric kettle, or something to hang your bathing suit to dry, or functional surface, even no water bottles (had them at all other places I stayed even apartments), but has plenty of unneeded plastic like plastic plants and flowers in decor, or the polyester bedsheets that, I guess, make any bed uncomfortable and absolutely ruined my sleep. The "patio" is only suitable for smoking, it smells bad and does not look clean. The hostel itself does not have a common kitchen or laundry, we are used to seeing in hostels, only bunk beds. Also you hear all the sounds around as if the walls are decorative and doors have large gaps mosquitoes can come in easily (and there are a lot of mosquitos, also I hope all these bites I have are from mosquitos and not bed bugs). I stayed at a different hotel last year and had a much better experience for a better price, I know there are better options here on Tao.

Excellent hostel with lovely staff, on the expensive side

5 travellers from New Zealand, 29/12 - 1/1/26 We loved our stay at Think! Overall no complaints but just be aware that it was our most expensive hostel. - Rooms had comfy beds with curtains and lights and were clean - Two showers and two toilets per 8 room dorm - Staff were really helpful and friendly, came out with us for one of the beach parties! - They will fill your water bottles for you - Good outdoor social space with beanbags, a big table and pool table

There is a large outdoor area with cozy seating areas. As well as a nice, friendly bar with pool table and darts. The rooms are very clean and designed to offer a lot of privacy for a dorm. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Great!

The area is spacious and nice decor in common area, room is very big and beds were comfortable. Location is slightly uphill than other places but walkable, a 7/11 right cross the street. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom attached in the room has sliiightly smell but I think it’s common while the infrastructure on the islands is always struggling.

Great new hostel!

I booked one night in the dorm and ended up extending a few nights because I loved it so much. Super chill vibe, everything was really clean, and the dorm was way more spacious than I expected. On my last night I treated myself to a private room and it was amazing! Huge, comfy, and such a nice way to end the trip. The staff were all lovely and super helpful with anything I needed :) For sure one of the best places I’ve stayed. Would absolutely come back!

Great hostel!!!!

Nice and quiet. Located in Chalok area across the road from gas station and 7-11. Comfortable bed with curtain and bed light. They have the garden area where you can go rest and chill under the plumeria tree. Helpful staff. Definitely going to stay there again!

I’m not usually a big admirer of hostel’s but Think Koh Tao has changed my opinion on them. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The staff are the most friendly you will meet and will help you organise places to go/boats/bikes etc. Location is perfect as its only 10 minute walk from pier and it’s not loud at night so if you are like me and actually want a good nights sleep you will get plenty. Social area is huge with plenty of comfortable seating, pool table and electronic darts board.

Sympa mais matelas inconfortable

L’emplacement de l’auberge est bien. 7/11 en face et pleins d’endroits pour manger aux alentours. Pas loin de freedom beach ou du port. L’auberge est agréable et très bien pour rencontrer du monde.

La literie est très inconfortable et les matelas sont usés, ils devraient être remplacés. Pas de gel douche ni shampoing fournis. La climatisation est extrêmement forte. Certains membres du personnel sont peu sympathiques. Pas de fontaine à eau après 22h. Lors de mon early check-out, il a fallu rendre la clé, la lumière et la serviette, ce qui était compliqué. Les lumières intégrées aux capsules seraient un vrai plus.

Super fijn en goed hostel met mega aardige eigenares, gelegen op een goede plek op Koh Tao!

Eerste plek waar we nog 2 nachten hebben bijgeboekt omdat we zo enthousiast waren!! Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf bij Think! De eigenaresse is mega aardig en ontving ons heel fijn bij aankomst! We konden onze bagage ergens neerzetten tot we de kamer in konden. De kamer was schoon, de bedden waren fijn en de badkamer was ook schoon en goed. Er waren 2 douches en 2 wc’s in een slaapzaal voor 8 personen. Dit was super fijn! Buiten kon je erg leuk en gezellig zitten, er zit een bar waar je lekker iets kan drinken en er is een pooltafel die je gewoon mag gebruiken. Als je een probleem of vragen had werd je gelijk heel goed geholpen tot het opgelost werd, echt super fijn en lief! Verder zit het ongeveer 15 minuten lopen vanaf de pier waar je aankomt op Koh Tao, prima te doen dus (ook met backpack :). Het zit dus op een prima loopafstand van het stadje af.

Un hostal básico para gente joven

Éramos un grupo de siete amigos que nos quedamos en una habitación bastante amplia de ocho camas. El baño está dentro de la habitación y tiene dos duchas disponibles. Las chicas son majisimas, nos recomendaron donde cenar, pudimos jugar al billar y algunos dias hay HappyHour de cervezas

La cama no es de lo más cómodo pero en general se está muy bien. Hay para tender ropa y taquillas individuales. El aire se apaga de 11 a 17h y se paga deposito aunque luego devuelven todo

Jederzeit wieder, Sauber, günstig und alles in der Nähe

Wir waren als Familie im Think Koh Tao und anhand dee Bilder war ich sehr skeptisch. Aber im Nachhinein würde ich das Famlienzimmer mit der Schlafcouch immer wieder buchen. Preis-/ Leistung und Sauberkeit ist super, alles fussläufig erreichbar und schnell am Pier. Wenn man den Trubel möchte ist es nicht weit zu den Szränden und zum entspannen hat man dort seine Ruhe. Man hat also die Wahl und nicht den permanenten Lärm. Ein Pool wäre schö, aber wäre bei weitem teurer gewesen. Die kleine Terrasse war zum chillen auch sehr Nett. Das Personal war auch sehr Nett. 7Eleven gegenüber

Leider kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Hatte ich übersehen, was aber zu einem kleinen Minuspunkt führte! Ist halt ein Hostel mit ein paar Doppelzimmern

Posizione, ampie camere e personale accogliente

Letto scomodissimo, sentivo le molle nella schiena. Pulizia sotto la media, sono state trovate delle cimici dei letti. È la prima volta che mi viene chiesto il pagamento per una coperta (stanza parecchio fredda con aria condizionata sparata a mille). Niente sapone ed acqua potabile a disposizione degli ospiti. Il prezzo c'è decisamente di meglio nei paraggi
