The room was lovely and modern. It was spacious and had a good TV with netflix on which came in handy when there was a storm. There was a large balcony which helped make the room bright in the day. The room was a short walk from the pier and sairee beach. Breakfast was good too.

The fresh towels has a funny smell to them but other than that, no complaints.

Excellent Stay in Field-D

The highlight of our stay was the hotel staff, that went above and beyond to help out with our stay. The rooms are new and nice and the location is actually really good, very short distance from most things.

Any issue faced was handled by the property staff.

4 night stay

We had a big window in our room which looked onto a mountain which was nice, they upgraded us from a studio to a deluxe room on arrival which was nice, the room had a nice layout

The room was not cleaned once over our stay, we asked numerous times and bins were not emptied and we were not given new towels. At £200 for 4 nights the room should be cleaned or at least new towels given daily. Every time we asked for anything to be done the staff assured us it would be and then never actually done it. This included ordering breakfasts to go. When we checked in we booked a breakfast to go once we arrived for the next morning as we were starting a dive course at 7am we were assured by the staff it would be organised and then when we got back at 7pm the staff had forgot and the kitchen was closed. When we checked in we were told that the kitchen would be open until 5pm daily if we needed to order breakfast we arrived back at 4:15 on the Tuesday and asked for breakfast for the morning as the course was starting again at 06:45am and then staff told us that the kitchen was closed I advised that we had been told that it closes at 5pm in the day and after 40 minutes they did actually give us breakfast for the morning. To rent out rooms I think bins need to be emptied daily and new towels given especially if it has been agreed by staff to do this already There was loads of staff walking around daily but did not appear to be doing much The shower pressure is very low

Walking distance from the pier (hill up). Clean, friendly staff. Near to Sairee beach and the other beaches. The view from the room/balcony is perfect. 7/11 and ATM is around the corner.

Terrible experience

Close only to the pier. The bed was decent.

Extremely disappointing experience. I really wish I had paid attention to all the negative reviews. I booked a “Superior Double Room” months in advance and specifically requested a quiet room — instead, I was given a room with constant noise from construction workers right outside and no privacy. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, especially the woman at the front desk. Housekeeping was nearly nonexistent — I had to repeatedly ask for someone to clean the room. The Wi-Fi barely worked, the shower and sink kept flooding, there was a recurring sewage smell, and ants in the shower. Also, the location is quite far from the city center, only somewhat convenient if you need to be near the pier.

Very clean, comfy, modern rooms. Great breakfast. Close to everything, but just far enough from the Main Street to be quiet.

Only potted coffee comes with breakfast. But the quality of everything else makes up for it.

Nice bright and clean rooms with very comfortable beds and clean sheets. Lovely friendly staff! We were on a diving holiday so a perfect place to wind down and rest.

There was a bit of construction happening when we arrived but this was very temporary and staff were apologetic. No issues after they had finished necessary works, it wasn’t a big problem. I feel they could hide some of the materials used for construction in the garden area as the rest of the landscaping is very lovely and well done. I am sure it’s just whilst upgrades are happening but still a bit ugly for guests to see.

Cleaning was unreliable or not done at all. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff told us that cappuccino was included, which ultimately wasn't the case, and we had to pay extra for it. However, we believe this was unintentional; just inadequate communication.

AMAZING STAFF, NICE HOTEL, HORRIBLE SHOWER, SHEETS, AIRCONS

Loved the staff. Sai (Sei?) and Jenny are the angels. They go thousand extra miles to make your stay the most amazing one and they go out of their way to fix the issues which the owner should have fixed a long time ago. Liked the room, spacious enough, beautiful view, cozy hotel.

The essentials which every hotel should have were not present here: first, there is basically no shower. There is a hose (from the wall) right above the toilet bowl which has very low water pressure. If you take a shower, there will be a lake of water in the toilet. It is NOT a mixed toilet-shower situation, no. It is a hose right above the toilet bowl. Second, the sheets are 100 percent synthetic and my family did not sleep for five nights - your body cannot breeze through these sheets. If you use not blankets, then you are cold because of the air conditioner. If there is no air conditioner, you are hot. The air conditioner in one room did not work and had to be replaced while my family stayed there because we could not use it. Imagine that. The fridge was extremely loud. In a word, the owner has to buy new blankets and sheets, new air conditioners (or fix the existing ones), get normal fridges... and it would be a fantastic place to stay.

Lovely place, great location

The view from my window was amazing. I liked the interior of the room, it was clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It’s 8 minutes walk from the pier, there is great small restaurant nearby, 7-11 as well.

Amazing apartment, felt like home!

One of the best hotel stays we had in Thailand, if not the best. It felt like home, you had everything you needed. Bett was comfy, kitchen was equipped with the main basics & overall great cleanliness. Breakfast and staff were also so amazing. Location is Perfect, everything walkable and if you want you can rent a scooter at the property for a great price

Amazing stay in Koh Tao

Our stay at field D house was great! We loved the room and really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It was only a short walk from the pier with many restaurants and bars nearby. We loved the array of different cats that stayed at the hotel, brownie and bah chang made our stay 10/10 would highly recommend

- Lovely spacious and comfortable room. We spent about a month here and would have liked to stay longer! - Big comfy bed, good air conditioning, working kitchen appliances, etc. - Extremely friendly, helpful staff. We rented a scooter from them and one of the staff spent time teaching us how to ride it. She also gave us recommendations for viewpoints and beaches on the island. - You can avail of laundry services where they bring your clean laundry back to your room for you, so it's really convenient. - There was a nice, varied breakfast buffet. - It's also in a great location with the beach, pier, and plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. within walking distance.

A haven in Koh Tao

I love everything and everyone at Field D. It was my 4th time staying here - and for a month each time. Its location is perfect for getting around the island. The rooms are well equipped, clean, light and airy and with reliable air-con. The staff have always treated me with kindness and love. I wouldn’t hesitate to encourage anyone to stay here, its a delight.
