Fancy hotel, but very difficult to regulate room temperature, and scalding warm water in the shower. Ok restaurant, but charges for water were too high. Free airport transfer and nice towels were appreciated.

Restaurant staff could be more language divers. They were fluent in French, but Dutch and English was pretty poor. My room was next to a busy highway, quite a lot of noise can from that.

The hotel was very quiet though there wasn't very many amenities around it so there was no choice but to eat in the restaurant. The train station to get into Brussels was less than a ten minute walk from the hotel

I truly enjoyed my stay. Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Brussels. The rooms are extremely spacious and welcoming, and the bathroom is exceptionally clean and roomy. Thank you!

Overall stay was good. I had an issue with the shuttle bus, I called to ask when the next was coming and I was told to wait 25 min, but no shuttle came, I ad then to take a taxi, but lost 45 minutes! that was on Sunday evening. Normally I would have expected the reception to be more supportive when I checked in

Check in was very easy, a little bit confusing if you stay in the wing.We stayed in the Clubroom.There are no washcloths that for your reference.Also the bed was not that comfortable.There is only one sheet on top of the mattress that kept coming off and exposing the mattress and a comforter with a cover.I am used to sleeping on top of a fully covered mattress with a separate sheet to cover myself in case it’s too hot.I ended up sleeping mostly with no cover because the comforter was hot at times. The bathtub and shower room is large and everything worked well. The refrigerator was not that cold at all

I was a bit disappointed especially (1) floor was not really cleaned so carpet was full of dusts and my child got allergies reaction so have to take medication and some amenity was not filled, ie cosmetic tissue was empty not. Room was connection room to unknown neighbors and they should lock the door but it was open. It was so unsecured and needs to complain. And (2) Front office tried to charge extra for parking, which I already paid room, breakfast and parking via Expedia. If I did not complain with proof of Expedia booking, they even did not refund me at check-out (I had impression, they have noticed double charged but try not to mention) I liked Van der Valk hotel group but certainly changed my opinion, completely with this experience.
