Economic option near brussels airport

Well situated, good Wifi. Economic.

There was only one or two wall sockets in all room, no one near the bed. Room is small but... as expected for the price. Parking is bit expensive as it's an outdoor one but you know the price in advance.

Considering the low price, I guess it was OK, though it seemed more like a hostel than a hotel.

The best was that the hotel was within walking distance of where my meeting was held. The room was clean, and except for black mould in the shower, so was the bathroom. The lighting was adequate, and there was a desk, enough hangers and a place to put my suitcase. I also appreciated that there were authentic drinking glasses and not plastic cups.

The room was kind of "sloppy"; the top mattress slid around on the bottom one, there were chips/wear marks on some of the furniture, and the A/C made noise at night. I felt a little unsafe on the ground floor with a window so close to the entrance, but in an evacuation, it would have been ideal, I suppose.

Lovely , convenient and lovely staff

Simple, clean with everything that you need. Comfortable bed and close to airport. If you want to grab a tea downstairs the staff lets you take the cup to your room and return it next day

If you are looking for a 5/10 experience, this is it!

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough.

The hotel advertises A/C, but the guests cannot personally control it. So, the room is coolest around check-in time (go figure) and the temperature gets more uncomfortable as the day goes on. Perhaps uncomfortable guests are better for the environment? The staff are generally not very friendly. The restaurant is closed for several months during the year, and the closest restaurant is at the Holiday Inn (which is expensive and terrible). At this hotel, they make you feel like you are a bit of a burden, not a guest.

The advertised restaurant is closed and shows no sign of reopening. I should have been informed of this as it was the reason for choosing this hotel over its cheaper neighbour.

Extremely disappointing

Internet was good

Hostile atmosphere, poor support staff. Location is aweful. No other restaurants closeby. You get only Pizza for dinner though there was a menu. When closing time for restaurant was there, staff asked me to leave even if i hadnt finished my Pizza. Its costly and not value for money. No water or coffee cattle in room was provided and you need to buy everything at expensive price.

1. The room smelt mold and bad. 2. The staff not welcoming 3. They discontinued airport shuttle and yet they would not tell you this until after you have booked. 4. The hotel is advertised as a 3 star hitel; it has nothing of a 3 star hotel and should be rated star. It is simply a rip off.

Superb

I like the hotel a lot. The staf is excellent. I was sorry they no longer offer the airport shuttle. However, they do provide taxis efficiently and on time (just have to pay twenty or thirty euros). I think it is pricey. But I like staying there a lot, as said, and it matches the prices of the other nearby hotels.

I was very satisfied with the whole experience. Staff is very friendly and professional, room and bathroom were perfectly clean. I liked your breakfast. Location was perfect as I needed just 10 minutes walking to NATO building.

The location is good

The are limited possibilities for pedestrians to get to IBis hotel. Hotel as its self is very outdated in every maner. More or less there are no rooms that you wouldnt feel depressed while staying there. And the noise is the worst.

Nice staff and food, basic but functional room though not as clean as I'd require to stay again.

The staff were friendly and the food both at breakfast and in the restaurant was tasty and, for breakfast, varied. The location was convenient for meetings in the area though poorly lit for an arrival by foot at night. The room was basic but had necessary facilities. I was disappointed that there were multiple long hairs strewn on the bathroom floor though. And the decision to cover a large (door sized) hole at the 2nd floor lift lobby with white card held up with black gaffer tape made me wonder what else had been bodged. A fire alarm point and air freshener unit were fixed over the gaffer tape suggesting this was not simply a temporary solution.

Cleanliness of the bathroom. The general maintenance for e.g the floor labels in the lift looked a little charred or dirty and the filling of a hole in the 2nd floor lift lobby was very shoddy.
