Baymont by Wyndham Perrysburg/Toledo

There was cockroaches everywhere. I told staff and they literally laughed at me. I haven't seen my daughter in over 2 months and was finally in town to see her. She wanted a swimming pool to be able to swim in. So I picked a hotel in Perrysburg just thinking I was good. Man was I wrong. The hotels need an exterminator first, then a major upgrade is definitely due. The curtains are all ripped up. The paint is chipped on the walls everywhere. Just a terrible experience and I will never return. I come back and see my daughter every 2 weeks now and I most certainly won't be going back there.

Rooms were infested with roaches and the staff clearly knows about it. Offered to change my room I declined and left after being at the hotel a couple hours. Manager is refusing to refund my money suggesting I should had taken their offer of a different room both rooms across the hall from each other had roaches highly likely the other room would too. Stay away unless your looking to pay for a home bug inspection after leaving

The first room I was given had roaches so I asked for another room. The next room had black mold in the bathroom. Was it worth it for the price? Maybe. If I needed more rest, the guest who left waffles in the waffle iron for 5 minutes with the alarm going off would have been a dealbreaker. Too dirty, too noisy.

Very convenient when it was available. The breakfast is reasonably for the price of this place. Eggs , bagels, biscuits and gravy, juice, waffles yum yum....

Rooms have a bad smell and they have roaches.

Clean room. Great bed and TV. The breakfast area felt like rush hour traffic with few options. The parking lot resembled developing world infrastructure.

Do not care about the laundry set up. Breakfast horrible selection, area is shoved in small area. Bugs in bathroom daily. Not knowledgeable about set up of building. Unsafe breaking fire code.

Very dirty rooms !! There was a blood on the bed sheets so i asked to change the rooms. And when they change the room, they put in a room with issue in the TV which the hotel person was very careless to solve it and the AC was nit working properly and the room smells very very bad!! I do not recommend at all

Reservations were made a month ago for 4 rooms adjoining. Told after we arrived that they don’t have adjoining rooms and they could not put us together because they sold out the night before. Absolutely ridiculous considering we made our reservation a month in advance. Beds were very uncomfortable, shower rod was falling off the wall, entire place smelled musty, water smelled and tasted terrible, toaster at breakfast didn’t work and had very limited juices.

Most disappointing experience ive ever had. Called ahead to make sure the room we were getting would fit the needs of my medically complex husband. Was told it was. Once we arrived and was checking in i asked again about the room...Again was assured it was a mobility accessible room. Well! NO it wasnt. Called front desk was told we could get a refund. (3 to 5 businesses days later) so it shortly my account because i had to pay again for another room. Was told to call expedia that they should be able to help. When Expedia called the property they were told i got the room i ordered so expedia refused to help us. It was a friday night and called around for hours looking for a room while my disabled husband sat in the car. We were hours away from home. Ended up at the hospital so i could clean him up after he had an accident since i had no where to take him. Finally able to find a suitable room at 1am. I spend hours crying and calling hotel after hotel. Baymount then turned around and billed me the 2nd time sat morning. Shorting my account even more. They didnt care what we gone through and the lady Saturday morning was rude and left me on hold and never came back. I will leave walk into that property again. Lesson learned.... always check your room before you paid especially if you are traveling with a medically complex person. Now home waiting on both refunds... Thank you Baymount for the worest experience ever!!

To start there are roaches. I didn't expect much for the price but the bugs got me. The bed was firm but not bad. It was very noisy and that was not a do op group at the entrance. The breakfast was better then some.

Staff was rude, acted as if we were an inconvenience. Doors slamming and barking dogs all hours of the night.

Ours was an extended stay so keeping a budget was important, and we chose this Baymont because it has gym, pool & hot tub for the price of a hotel without. Visiting aging parents, most of our days were just sitting with them (after a VERY long plane trip to get there) - being able to get some exercise once back at the hotel was much appreciated! We were very comfortable at Baymont and will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Comfortable bed, space to move about in the room, loads of TV channels, wifi, fridge, micro - couldn't have been more comfortable unless at home. Baymont is at the edge of a huge shopping area with all the major chain stores and restaurants and everything one could need is right there, within walking distance even. The cleaning and reception staff are great - pleasant & accomodating. Would have scored service a 5 had the breakfast staff not seemed so bothered by our existence. Breakfast itself was quite good for an american hotel in this price range, including several warm choices eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal & waffles. Some users have commented on cleanliness, but I found the hotel and our room to be very clean. The interior is showing wear and may give some the impression of not being clean, but it is. My only low score for sustainability, really isn't specific to Baymont. The scandinavian in me just can't give more than a 1 for all those single use cups,plates and forks - but it seems to be like that all over in the US.
