2 minutes walk to town centre, yet in a quiet location, ideal base for exploring. Alnwick Castle, used in the Harry Potter films & Alnwick Gardens are nearby. Explore the heritage coastline or visit Holy Island via the causeway, Bamburgh with its magnificent castle or Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Less than an hour will take you to Berwick or Newcastle and a bit further to Edinburgh. An ideal location for that short break or relaxing week. Shops, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

A lovely cosy cottage right in the heart of Alnwick (1 minute on foot from the main high street). Everything was as described and depicted in the property listing. All communication with the owner was good and check-in was smooth.
