Darjeeling at The Tea Warehouse - North East Escapes

Fantastic property in a perfect central location with access to restaurants and sightseeing, and a perfect base for a wider exploration of Northumberland for a week. The property was in a wonderful character house from the outside, but really lovely, clean and modern to a high spec on the inside. Two nice bedrooms which was perfect for our group of four. Perfectly usable Kitchen, which was handy as we stayed for a week and didn’t want every meal to be in a restaurant. There was even a washing machine, which came in handy as well. Overall, extremely pleased with our stay and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Perfect location in a lovely market town; very central to good restaurants and local tourist attractions. The beds were very comfortable and good communication from the host.

Only one bathroom for 2 double rooms. Limited toiletries provided. Parking required moving the car from one location to another over the course of the day.

Fantastic location in the very centre of Alnwick. Spacious, clean and well equipped, perfect for a short stay.

Sofa is quite uncomfortable but fine for a short stay.

Accommodation is really central in Alnwick meaning it's easy to walk to all the sites. Flat was well laid out and contained everything needed for our stay. It was like a home from home. Parking isn't available (for more than 2 hours) outside the accommodation but there are a number of 24 hour car parks nearby which it's easy to move the car around if you're not using it every day. The parking disc (to use to park outside the accommodation) in the hallway was much appreciated.

There was an odd smell/odour in the entry way which we never managed to work out what it was, fortunately it didn't travel up to the accommodation though.
