Alnwick sat

Comfortable appt recently decorated and V clean. Well appointed kitchen and cosy beds.

Road noise is loud from second floor. Passing cars make the road sound like a motorway, and people talking in the street could be in the next room. Parking is on a 2hr meter. - perhaps I missed this in the initial description, or didn't expect it.

Good value apartment for family trip to Alnwick

Location ideal for exploring Alnwick on foot. Plenty of places to eat out within walking distance. We had car and though you can only park for 2 hours outside the apartment (disc system and discs provided helpfully) we parked a few minutes walk away for free no bother. Apartment was well equipped. Plenty of fluffy white towels and beds were comfy with nice linen. Kitchen well equipped too. Good value for money for size and facilities offered.

Sofa was uncomfortable and there was no table to eat at. There was a smell in the apartment too that lingered for our whole stay. Very noisy at night - people leaving pubs at closing time, deliveries/bin lorries early in the morning.

Good size. Great location. Good kitchen and facilities. Nice bathroom.

The sash windows do not stay open. Had to prop the open using cans. The beds are a little narrow. The chairs in the lounge aren’t terribly comfortable. Few tired marks in kitchen and bathroom but nothing major. Strong smell in entrance lobby downstairs… possibly too many air fresheners.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was clean, beds comfy and towels luxurious, everything you needed for our short 4 day stay was provided, location was good but a little noisy, shower was lovely, Alnwick is a great place to stay .

The only feedback, the noise as you were in the centre of the town, single pane windows so could be noisy at times. As a family of 4 we had no where to sit altogether for a meal, we had to sit on the sofa and eat from our laps.

The perfect apartment!

This was the prefect apartment for our 2 night trip to Northumberland. It’s situated right in the centre of Alnwick so is the perfect location. It was incredibly clean, gorgeously decorated and had toiletries left by the owners such as: shampoo, soap, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags etc. Honestly could not recommend this apartment more highly - we definitely hope to be back again soon! Thank you!

Very central. Clean and modern. Nice decor. Warm. Two double bedrooms was a plus. Great shower. Dog friendly with no doggy smells.

I would have liked a cafetière and perhaps more room to eat.

Family friendly, clean and tidy, great base from which to explore

Spacious apartment, perfect for our family stay. Open plan kitchen/lounge was great with the kids. Apartment was clean and tidy. Loved the castle views from the apartment and the fact it is so central. Great base for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding areas as easy access to bus and train routes.

Beautifully converted apartments in a gorgeous building. Ideal location but still quiet even though it’s really central. Really well equipped. We and the dog loved it!
