Angel Lane Alnwick Apartment

The host was very accommodating (e.g. allowing us in early) and very prompt to answer any messages we sent. It was clean and quiet and very central in Alnwick, and well equipped including tea and coffee etc (and a pint of milk which we didn't need or use, but we appreciated the gesture).

We found the bed far too soft, and in fact I ended up on a makeshift bed in the sitting room, which was not ideal but more comfortable for me. Others may well like such a soft bed!

We loved the location….very easy to get around town. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to change temperatures in each room. It was very cozy and I LOVED the ‘Friends’ coffee mugs. 😊

We wish there would have been an extra roll of toilet paper available and maybe a roll of paper towels?? Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay. 🤗

The location was excellent, super central to all shops, bars and restaurants with easy short stay parking outside and 24 hr parking very close.

Whilst nothing in particular was ‘bad’ and our stay was good, it just has a slightly dated feel with some areas needing ‘sharpened up’..BUT, you get what you pay for and this was not expensive compared with others in Alnwick.

Brilliant location. Easy parking at Morrisons next door to unload. Then free 24 hour parking at Dispensary St. It would have been helpful to have this information before arriving.

Antiquated heating systems. Flat was freezing cold and storage heaters never came on. Bedroom heaters made alot of noise so had to unplug. Several cobwebs and very dusty TV and other surfaces. Doors need cleaning/painting. Greasy oven handle. Dirty shower screen seal and grout. We were not warned of 3 flights of stairs although we were ok with it, others may not. Bed linen felt thin and quite old, though quilt nice and warm. Stretch covers on sofa obviously hiding something? Needs ring binder with instructions for use of all appliances etc plus local information would be nice.
