We've been to Northumberland many many times but this was the first time with our 5 month old baby. We struggled to find somewhere with a bedroom large enough for a travel cot so when we saw the pictures of this cottage it looked ideal. There is so much space in the bedroom it was perfect for what we needed.
Location is amazing, just off the A1 and a short drive or walk into Alnwick itself.
Would definitely return.
Furniture was a little old/stained but cottage itself was clean and tidy.

It was spacious and well equipped
The bed was very soft and springy but our personal preference is for a firmer bed.

Great location , good for Alnwick town. large and spacious. Very cosy .
The old saying , “spoiling the ship for apeth of tar “ springs to mind . The place could be awsome , but lacked basic utensils which was annoying and feh Tv didn’t work properly, no terrestrial tv. Like we say small and cheap but important.
